White Castle

This White Castle was just remodeled and it looks great! Service was professional, and fast. Food was delicious and made fresh. Highly recommend the onion rings. So delicious! Come check their new look out. Parking: Plenty parking, handicap accessible.

Nothing like the smell of sliders in the morning with pickles, grilled onions and of course ketchup added. They may not be healthy for you but of course you can't live forever. So what the heck? The Gurnee location has a friendly staff and cooks up the sliders quickFood: 5/5

White Castle in Gurnee is really good! We were craving it tonight and we went for the gusto!! Crave case with cheese 3 large orders of crispy fires! We haven't had White Castle in so long so tonight we really enjoyed it!Food: 5/5

Went there today craving those tiny burgers. Haven't ate white castle in a few years and wasn't aware how big the menu has grew. So decided to put together a "tasting" menu. I ended up getting basically 2 of everything 1 for me and 1 for the wife and we tried it all. Needless to say I was pleasantly suprised how fast and fresh everything was. The cashier was very attentive considering how big my order was. Everything came out quick witch was a plus. So service was great, food was good no complaints and the order was correct. Only thing I would change is update the dining room everything is showing its age. But all in all couldent be happier with our trip. Attached photo is of the order.

The crew at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday July 30th absolutely killed it! Super sweet and professional. Accommodated the bus of my peers and I and did an amazing job. Highly recommend this white castle and the crew tonight. Will visit again when back in townFood: 5/5

The girls in drive thru today around 10:30 am. Was so polite and very nice when taking care of my order. I didn’t receive the buffalo chicken rings like I wanted and the buns in my cheeseburgers were super hard so I couldn’t eat them, but the girls pleasant attitudes and great customer service made up for it. They should be recognized.Food: 4/5

Since the remodel everything has gone downhill. I loved this White Castle before, but now I am done with it. They have screwed up orders twice really bad, wait times are thru the roof, the burgers tasted awful threw most of them out. Looks like most of the old help is no longer there probably could not afford to hang on while place was closed for remodel and the new help is either lazy or poorly trained. Honestly, it pains me to have to write a review like this of a place I used to really love. Go to the one in Round Lake if you want real White Castle customer service and good food.

Online order at 6:09 on this Sunday evening. Promised for 6:30. Get there at 6:30, tell the order window I'm here. Takes 20 !! minutes to reach the pick-up window. "Sorry, it's not ready, take a parking space." Another 10 minutes and they bring out part of the order crave case but not the fries or chicken rings I ordered. I go inside. The harried manager says he's short-handed and what else can he do? Asks the staff to get me the fries and 20 chicken rings I had ordered 6. I finally get a bag and bring everything home, a full hour after placing the order. And... There are just 4 chicken rings.

Who is the genius that decided to pour solid ice cream into a cup and call it a shake? It is thick as concrete and you get a flimsy straw no spoon and no napkins with any of your food. I drove from Gurnee Illinois to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I can still take the lid off the cup and hold it upside down. If that one drip will come out.Food: 3/5

I was excited to visit the reopening of White Castle in Gurnee. Just stopped by for a late night meal, and I received no answer at the drive-thru window. Google says they’re open until 2am. White Castle’s website says they’re open until 3am. We drove around the side of the building, made eye contact with an employee, and she just looked away. Corporate, I’m calling you out.
