Peaceful night sleep at charming and lovingly cared for Inn. In a day and age where things seem overly complicated, it’s nice to know you can pull over at a place for the night and share fellowship with other like minded travelers who appreciate a simple, kind, and quiet nights sleep. The owners were super laidback and shared with me their favorite scenic route which luckily for me was already my preplanned route! My room was spotlessly clean and both the bed and pillows were comfy. Great stay and have already recommended to a friend planning travel in the area next month. Thanks for easy and safe stay!
We stayed here on our last leg of our National Parks tour. It is very close to Mesa Verde National Park but far enough away to be peaceful. The town and park were very busy at the time of our stay. I was so tired of staying in hotels that were basically carbon copies of each other, you know the ones, they are so modern that everything is stale and boring with no personality. When I stepped into the lobby I was instantly impressed. I don’t know if it was the sweet woman that checked us in and took the time to recommend places for us to dine or the beautiful Angel Wing Begonia in the lobby but I felt right at home and that was just the lobby. Then we went into our room and it instantly reminded me of my Grandmother, which may not sound like a complement but from me it is actually the highest of compliments. The room was incredibly clean and had a lovely eclectic vintage vibe. I seriously fell in love with this place. I even took a picture of the lamp on the bed side table because I liked it so much, I’m going to try to find one like it that I can buy. If you get the chance to stay here, do it. The grounds are nice and they also have walking trail in the back.
This place is so cute! The rooms are the perfect size and very clean. This is by far the one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Heated floors in the bathroom. They also allow dogs for only a 15 dollar fee. Perfect place to stay that is close to many attractions and not far from the 4 corners. Highly recommend!
My family and I stayed here on two separate occasions in early June 2022. We had a room with 2 queen beds which were very comfortable with plenty of blankets. The bathroom was super clean as well with plenty of hot water for 4 showers in a row. The A/C, WIFI, and and Television worked great. The offices, rooms, and grounds are very clean and the staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. There is a community grill with a sitting area that is wonderful to enjoy after a long day of driving. And even though this is close to the road, I didn't hear any traffic noise and our room was quiet as I couldn't hear my neighbors on either side of us on both stays. We rested great and couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend and will return.
I didn't think i would like this place at first. The room was clean, bright, & bug free. The pillows were soft & smelled nice but the bed was hard. There was a weird noise that was loud while we were sleeping, maybe plumbing or something. Tv service wasn't bad but the WiFi sucked. And no shower curtain. Prolly could've asked the front desk but wasn't planning on showering.
Not a bad place for the money. The mattresses in our room were completely worn out. Tried flipping and spinning them no good. Lots of cob webs above the window as well. Other than that, staff all were courteous and very friendly.Rooms: 3/5
First, the lady we spoke with on the phone about our reservation- very nice and friendly. We had a very late check in - around midnight and she arrange it nicely Rooms very clean - we like supporting locally owned businesses- so after reading reviews we decided to stay here I am currently writing this review at 5:45am - the same morning we checked in at midnight After winding down from our drive I finally got to sleep a little after one - and thought - ok 6 hours of sleep will be fine - but nope At 4:15am our neighbors in the next room decided to come back from wherever they were no car was there at midnight or 1:00am when I went out to my car to grab some water But - the neighbors decided they needed to smoke and talk above each other outside our window at 4:15am It woke everyone in our room up and I was wearing noise canceling headphones playing ambient sounds to stay asleep At 4:30am - I went outside to ask them to move and be quite - they went from one side of their door to other side And continued trying to talk over each other - so I turned on the ac/heater unit and put headphones back on - to no avail They are still going at it - and I’m wondering if calling the police will do any good - it’s now 5:50am and I’ve gotten 3 hours of sleep and have to leave in an hour The place is clean, dated, but very clean- staff I spoke to the previous day - extremely friendly - but I’ll never be back - I know it’s not necessary the hotel’s fault but there is no remedy other than going outside again and possibly getting into an argument or spending time talking to police and having lights and still getting no sleep They got an extra star for friendliness and cleanliness- but I just wanted some sleep- which I didn’t get
The price was right for our trip, we just needed a nice clean room to lay down after driving for 20hrs straight. We were looking for anything fancy or luxurious but the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was very friendly and accommodateing. We had a quite night's sleep after a fresh shower and a good dinner this place was perfect.......I would definitely recommend and stay again
5 stars for everything. Kelly at the desk was awesome. Although the room was older, it was great. Many many small touches to make it very comfortable. Great place. We only stayed a night before heading to Mesa Verde, but would definitely return.Rooms: 5/5
Nice motel! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I really liked the way the staff took their time in cleaning each room to insure the cleanliness. The owners are wonderful, very helpful and fun! Nice spot just outside of town. We would definitely stay here again.
