I would give you zero stars if that was an option! Absolute worst experience, I’ve ever had at a arcade. I brought my three boys there to have a good time. I bought the unlimited pack which cost me over $100 which is fine if they were able to ride the go carts. Or win prizes. But unfortunately, we weren’t able to do either. We played a few games and then went out so they could ride the go cart. Was told that they are not big enough and that we would have to pay extra for me or my husband to ride with them. So I just went back inside and asked to speak to the manager. Who I believe is the owner. I said, can we just have her money back we were giving these passes under false pretenses. She said how many games have you played I said I don’t know she ran the card and said well no, I can’t give you your money back because you play 12 games. So pretty much we got ripped off and my family just left. I will never return to this establish! I strongly urge everybody on the mountain to second guess where they are putting their money. The owner/manager was extremely rude and unapologetic.
When teenage go-kart employees make 3 out of 6 kids come away crying after 1 ride on the slower family track with the way they treated us it’s clear they both need to be FIRED. Even I froze up with how intense the light haired boy spoke to me about my daughter NEVER being allowed to drive again since she doesn’t know how to brake good enough and will have to be a passenger if we ever want to come back. Thanks to this idiot teenager kid my 9 year old daughter bawled after the confrontation and she told me with tears going down her face “I never want to drive and go-kart again”. This was the worst experience you could have with your family trying to have a good time. The worst part about the trauma these teenagers caused is we paid money for this stupid treatment. You couldn’t pay us to ever come back to this terrible situation. Management is clearly not doing their job! They ignored this review and my voicemail I left them about this situation.
Amazing place, customer service as top notch I left a personal belonging at the establishment over 4 hours away. The lady who assisted me was amazing at recovering and sending my belongings back to me. The atmosphere was top notch and so much fun for all ages. My group was all 25+ and still had a blast with the mini golf and go kart attractions as well as the video games and laser maze on the inside. For sure will be returning anytime in the area.
It makes me sad to post this since there aren’t many places on the mountain to have parties but I want to prevent other families from having bad experiences with their kids’ birthdays. We attended a birthday party at the Family Fun Park and it was a really bad experience. This establishment is easily the most expensive place on the mountain to have parties so I would assume that more care would go into parties. They say to stick to a strict timeline while the party is in their party room but there’s a lot of down time between food, cake, etc so the kids get extremely restless. Passing out food takes a while too so parents end up having to help. We went to another party here about a year ago and this was the case then too. The server that time didn’t even pass out drinks so we had to do this is an ongoing issue of service. Once the party moved to the game floor our group was told by the boy behind the ticket counting counter that our unlimited passes didn’t include the mini golf. So we moved on to go karts and that was a complete nightmare with signs not being clear and employees claiming the website says you have to have adult riders who buy their own tickets even if you bought the unlimited for the kids. The transactions were done over the phone and in person so assuming that having this info online is sufficient is terrible customer service. When I asked the owner/cashier if mini golf was included she said yes and I said ok I just wanted to check because another employee said it wasn’t and she said no it is and then proceeded to tell me that, “The party has been lying,” and pulled out their contract and started talking about balloons. I actually had to stop her and tell her it is incredibly unprofessional and morally wrong for her to be showing me someone else’s contract and then she blamed the argument on me. It’s fine to be upset with a guest of your establishment but to get aggressive when someone is still speaking normally is disheartening. I gave up at that point and let my kids finish playing. I highly doubt anyone from that party will be back and certainly won’t be booking any more parties. When you expect a party to spend over $700 on their experience, they should get a much better experience.
Great place for younger kids and something fun to do in Pinetop-Lakeside. Had a good time with the exception of a single staff member. Witnessed this person chastising newer staff as well being exceptionally rude to us. Felt like a toxic environment. As long as you don't engage with this person it won't ruin the fun you'll have here.
Kids 10 and 7 had a blast with the go-karts! Ok maybe the adults did too. We went on a Saturday and there was barely any wait. Our toddler didn’t love the mini-golf, she’s too short for the go-karts, and most of the arcade games are not her level. So heads up got families with younger kids.
This is a good place to take the kids when they are bored. A little expensive, but worth the money to keep the kids entertained. We did mini golf one day and go-carts the next. Mini golf was hot and too crowded. Mostly we had a good time. The course ate one of our golf balls and the heat had me a little dizzy by the end, but we made it. The go-carts aren't the fastest, but they are fast enough to make it a challenge. It was fun enough that we had to go a second time.
I would give this establishment a minus 5 stars if possible. The owner must be a very unhappy person to treat her very valuable customers with such total disrespect. She doesn't seem to understand that good customer service begets good reviews and more business. We were passing through the area and decided to take a break and let the kids ride the go karts. They shut the ride down due to lightening just after buying 5 tickets. We made it clear when purchasing our tickets that we only wanted to do the go karts. The very rude owner/manager would not refund our money. Her husband suggested a refund, but she refused in a very unlady- like tirade. She did however offer to call the police if we didn't leave the premises immediately. Anyone want some unused tickets?
Horrible customer service. Save your money and spend it elsewhere. After spending $174.00 for my niece and son to ride go karts, we were advised by 2 very rude staff members that my son was not tall enough to ride on the fast track. Mind you, he has frequented this track and drove on the fast track for several days prior to this with 0 issues and clearly met the height requirements. I guess their crooked paint stick they use as a measuring device is their way of saying “sorry you aren’t tall enough”. My son and niece then went to the family side and wanted to ride together in 1 cart. They were told they could not ride together in the cart unless they provided a valid drivers license. Makes zero sense being that they are both under the age of 14. But then, they decide that it was ok for them to drive solo in a cart of their own WITHOUT A DRIVERS LICENSE! This place is not family friendly and the lady who claims to be the owner is extremely rude. Go rent a boat at Big Lake, take your kids fishing and enjoy the mountains before you spend a penny here.
