Almost everything here is great. Amazing selection of food and drink. Unfortunately one bad experience earns this one star review. The lady I was served by today at the sushi bar was ignorant and rude to me, and refused to make a request for a particular roll, even though they could have made it, she insisted that I take a different one that they made earlier. I have never had that response at the sushi bar before, it was very surprising.
Wholefoods always have the best beer on tab. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming here. I live far away but will definitely will make an effort to stop by when in town. They have a beer for everyone's taste and then some.
HOT BAR REVIEW…. This is specifically about the hot bar because the store is fine and a typical Wholefoods location. I have punished myself continually by going back and hoping things would be different… but the food is always old and horrible. I’ve had better tasting food at the Fiesta Hotel and Casino buffet in Vegas! That’s not a good thing considering that buffet is $6 for all you can eat. You can only imagine the quality you’re getting. I just spent $10 on a small piece of cheese lasagna that tasted like it was out all day. I previously had the broccoli and cheddar soup… then had massive diarrhea the rest of the night. Wholefoods! When I hear your name I think of quality, but this location fails to deliver. Do better! ***UPDATE*** Thank you for copying and pasting a generic response used on other unhappy reviews Wholefoods! It shows you really care… :-/ The photo below in 03/16/23 at 430p… that’s supposed to be vegan meatballs in chimichurri sauce!
First of all.. I'm grateful for the healthy and quality options here.. crazy selection of high quality cheeses.. to dairy to meat and seafood.. outstanding.. secondly I have been to whole foods around the USA.. never have I experienced the level of friendliness.. helpfulness and kindness from a staff like the NB location.. to the manager. You are hiring right! Kudos
Wanted to look inside a $30 product. Yes. I did. After putting $125 worth of hair and lotion products in my cart - I know, how snakey of me, looking in a product. A worker bee said to me “We don’t have any open products here.” You’re lucky you haven’t been damaged by all the horrible people destroying and stealing things, Whole Foods. I’d be the first to support you, but nah. You are petty against those you are not afraid of.
Weird layout, very limited hot food and cold food selection, and no tables located inside.
They had a nice selection of all things I love. Tripped me out when I saw the pay with your palm option at the registers. Crazy world we live in now. Whole foods is the best grocery store in the world though in my opinion

I shpped at whole food Newport beach When I use self check in I recognized they out of handle bag I ‘m from LA I needed handle bag I change my mind about lots of shopping and I left some item back because I have little bag in my car I want all item bag because of handle bag but my family said we don’t have much time to go to LA whole food so I bought Egg and oatmilk fruit something else When I go to cashier some guy watched me like a inspector I was very upset and he told other employees about me And he said I have to scanned He misunderstands my situation and I felt very angry and In comfortable I’m Asian I felt racism problem Your store apologize to me
