Curriculum and Instruction offers undergraduate and graduate programs for those pursuing a teaching career or continuing professional development.
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Wichita State University offers undergraduate and graduate programs for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching and/or continuing in their professional development.
The undergraduate programs prepare individuals who become eligible for Kansas teacher licensure in early childhood unified, elementary, middle level or secondary education, to teach in public or private school settings.
Graduate programs are available for individuals who currently hold a teaching license to continue their professional development in special education or curriculum and instruction.
For those individuals who already possess a bachelor's degree and want a teaching license, the alternative certification program and the Master of Arts in Teaching are available.
