We had reserved an RV spot for one night. We were having RV troubles and knew that we were going to be late or try to see if we could book for the next day . I called three days before our reservation Called and left three messages. Never got a return call back, so had to make a reservation at a different park .When I did get a phone call back from John Peterson it was 4 days later after our reservation. I explained the situation to him and he said to write an email about us getting a refund. Sadly we never heard back from anyone. They took our money and ran.
This place is a hidden gem. I never had the experience of this campsite prior to the new owners, but from my experience during Memorial Day weekend, the new owners appear to be doing a great job! The tent sites are very spacious and mostly shaded. The campground is dog friendly and kid friendly. My family and I had an amazing experience and look forward to reserving a site next year! Restrooms: Very clean main restroom. Frequently cleaned porta potty for tent sites. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly! Appeared to be no restrictions.
It was a great location and right about of seclusion. Beautiful views and clean shower/bathroom facility. Helpful and friendly staff. Many trails for nature walks and pretty Creek..love the place, it's a great place to get away....also the pool is pretty warm and refreshing...
I am a traveling nurse. Wildwood was a safe and peaceful place to stay. The wildlife was amazing to see each day. The staff was so helpful and made you feel safe. The camp ground has so many nice people. The showers were clean. The pool was amazing. I recommend this place for families and for just wanting to have peace and quiet time.
Omg it is so amazing this is my first time here very friendly and very clean ive booked 6 days i dont wanna go home
Love this place, friendly staff. Cant wait to come back.
Charlie the fellow who runs this place was great. He went out of his way to get the cabin cleaned at the last minuite to accomodate us . It is a friendly community very close to the lake . The cabin is quaint, quiet an charming. This place would great for a big family as it may be small but it has three twin bunks , a queen bunk and a queen fold out. Great base camp for regional exploration. There is on sight laundry as a major plus. Be aware that you must provide bedding , which is part of why it is such a value. It was however, much more than I expected for the price. I will be back again when I visit the Southren Tier. Such a beautiful area.
My wife and I have a place in the camp. Nice, quiet, and peaceful. If your looking for a campsite. This maybe the one for you.
I had been on my bike for about 10 hours and decided I needed to find a place to rest. I tried two other places in the area. The KOA was my first choice but that location had absolutely no information on how to get a site after hours, no information outside the office not even a poster. The gates were locked so that I couldn't even write them a note, crash in a site and pay in the morning. Wildwood had an open office with an after hours contact. Called it and got set up with an awesome secluded spot by their pond. BTW this wasn't at 2 or 3 in the morning this was at 7 am. All in all good customer service and good amenities go a long way.
Camped here for 3 days had a great time. Owner was good guy hooked me up on the fire wood. I deff will be back again. Great place for tent camping
