I placed an order through 1800-flowers. Unfortunately they used this business to deliver them. It was for a birthday present. I stressed that it needed to be at the business before 4pm. 1800 flowers contacted them and they advised that hey can have them there by 4pm. Needless to say, the attempted delivery was at 5pm after they were closed!!! It ruined the surprise. Once again, I needed to reschedule them foe the next day but stressed that they had to be there by 3pm. 1800 flowers contacted them at 1130 and they advised it was one the truck out for delivery and will be there by 3pm. They arrived at almost 5pm when the business was closing and my girlfriend was already gone for the day!! When she finally got them when she came to work on the 3rd day, the flowers did not look anything like the picture from 1800 flowers. They were supposed to be of a dog. The right picture was what it was supposed to look like. The left picture was what was sent. She had no idea it was supposed to be of a dog until I told her. This was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. They will cut and paste a generic response saying I can contact them. They were contacted many times through 180 flowers and the very last day, they never answered them back.
Ordered 2 dozen roses for 18th wedding anniversary. Delivery arrived and arrangement did not have a single rose in it. Called and they said they would deliver roses tomorrow not on my anniversary but could not provide any explanation as to how this could occur nor did they seem concerned about the issue. To top it off, a few hours later I received a delivery confirmation email saying that the flowers were delivered, at 12:30 PM. In reality, the flowers did not arrive until after 4 PM. Simply nothing positive to say about this experience. Below is a picture of what was delivered.
I ordered the "Grammie" for a funeral on a Monday at 2:00, it was delivered to the church on the Saturday before and the flowers died. Not to mention they charged me $94 and it was $59 for the arrangement. Thank you for crediting my account!
Whilhide's delivered this Harvest Glow arrangment with dead flowers in it. Who does that? The third picture is what the arrangement was supposed to look like. Not even close!
I order the FTD Floral Cross Easel for a family member funeral four days before. As I walked in a family member told me how bad the arrangement looked. So I called Wilhide's to complain. They said they would replace it by the second veiwing. The replacement was worst than the first. The arrangement did not even hold up for transport for the burial the next day. So I called and request a refund for the order. When I received my credit card bill the next month, there was no credit. I tried calling again. No one answered the phone. So I left a message to return my call. Of course, no return call from anybody. I only received an apology after the credit card company contacted the main company. Come to find out Wilhide's is owed by Rutland Beard Florist. Both business have poor reveiws.
Worst experience ever! Please do not get flowers here. Called to order flowers for pick up and was charged $116.00 for the order. Upon arrival the representative told me she has no idea who I am and what I ordered and after finding my order number stated they do not have the flowers I ordered at the shop. Today is my mothers birthday and never have I been so disappointed
Unfortunately, we had a family member who passed. We were sent a beautiful floral arrangement from Wilhide's from our friends Nancy & Al. The flowers were and have been beautiful. While we have periodically tossed some of the flowers, there are still plenty that provide joy from their beauty. We are at 20 days now of enjoyment; the flowers were delivered well arranged, and outside of changing the water regularly, the yellow lily and daisy type mix arrangement seems perpetual at this time. We figure what is left will still be good for another week. Wilhide's Florist certainly will be our Florist of choice in the future, thanks.
I made a Friday late night purchase needing the delivery on Saturday. The flowers were delivered and I was told by the recipient they are beautiful. The driver called to let the recipient know they were there because no one was home and the flowers were out in the freezing cold. They hurried home and retrieved them in time. Excellent service. Won't hesitate to use Wilhides again!
Underwhelmed. Was so excited to try Wilhide's out, looking for a florist to do some events coming up. I ordered an arrangement for delivery and did the upgrade. The first attempt to deliver didn't go well, although I did leave a note saying the person receiving the flowers would take a while to get to the door. I got a message they couldn't be delivered that day--the recipient said no one rang the bell or knocked... so not sure the first attempt was every really attempted, but maybe the security camera somehow missed them. Second attempt they were left at the door--for a person in a wheelchair with a boot up to the thigh to try and bend over to get--even though I said the person needed time to get to the door and even gave them the number to call ahead. I showed up the next day to see the friend and check out the flowers. They were pretty but the "upgrade" was not upgraded. Not a fantastic experience. There are plenty of other florists to choose from in EC--I'll be trying another tonight.
Not impressed. I’ve been a customer of Wilhides for over 5 years. Ordered $78 worth of flowers 2 days ago paid for delivery yesterday…still no flowers. Called the store 3x still no resolution…waiting on someone to include the manager to call me back. You’d think at the very least I’d get a phone call apologizing and giving me a status update. Oh yeah, I have emailed customer service…no response there either. Update. After 5 phone calls to the store I was finally able to talk to the district manager. She was very apologetic and most helpful. The girl who took my information wrote down the wrong delivery date. A mistake I understand, however she failed to tell me that the 4x I called and she even pulled up my account. Bottom line flowers were finally delivered…still not sure I’ll use Wilhides ever again. No customer should have to go through this, thankfully the flowers weren’t for a funeral or wedding. .
