Wilkies Fresh Baked Bread

Good food and good prices. The sandwiches are made from fresh bread in the bakery and they really pack the sandwich full of meat. Prices are around $10 so you have a good meal for a good price.

OMG! The bread is soooooo good. Id post a photo but it didnt last long enough to take a photo. The cupcakes are wonderful and the soup s are fantastic. Get there early in the morning because quite often they end up sold out. My favourite is raisin bread, but the sour dough is excellent too!

I usually buy their bread at my local grocery store, but stopping by the bakery is worth it! They have great selection of other goodies, on top of their delicious bread.

This is a wonderful bakery. Their Garlic Sourdough loaves are my favorite. The texture is ideal: chewy with a crispy crust. The only downside is that you'll be hard pressed to not eat the loaves all at once. Jokes aside, come here early in the morning. We have been enjoying Wilkies goodness since day one. A beautiful selection of handmade baked goods - including both classics and signature items. We especially love the cookies, brownies, sunrise buns, jalapeno cheddar loaf, sandwiches, and different in-house made cream cheese spreads. Andrew pours his heart into everything he creates and we highly recommend visiting this beautiful bakery.

Awesome place for breakfast, lunch or a snack. Phenomenal bread with a great selection that rotates daily the sriracha sourdough is my favourite. They have some low gluten options for breads as well. The staff/owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet. We love having them downtown.

So happy to have such an amazing place right around the corner from work! Their selection of breads, baked goods and dips are to die for! Poutine bread, sunrise buns and red pepper dip are some of my absolute favourites and guilty pleasures. Worth a stop if you haven't been!

Delicious and affordable. Love the chance to get baked goods so fresh and locally made! We had a lovely loaf of challah and some delicious cookies. It was hard to choose from all the amazing varieties of bread!

Hands down my favorite local bakery, I always order treats in advance to share with family when I'm going out of town. I recommend the New Brunswick brown or Dill Pickles loaves, as well as the flatbread and sandwiches. Much better than Klasses in my opinion and they improve all the time. Oh! And they sell croutons.

An artisanal bakery that does all the small things right. The whole place smells absolutely wonderful and you'll be greeted by attentive staff who value a personal touch. Very highly recommended if you're in Pembroke or Petawawa.
