Barbara Brush has helped me find my dream home. I met Barbara about a year ago. She came with excellent reviews and hence I decided to work with her on buying my home. When I started my search I was stuck on the fact that I wanted to live on a lake. Barbara religiously almost every day helped me find different areas to see if I would like them for my home. halfway through the year we realized that I did not like the community around the lake and I would be happier if I was closer to my friends. Barbara helped me reach this decision and also guided me to make the right decision for my future home. She became a friend, a confidant and overall a person that I could rely on for such a big decision in my life. not every realistic agent out there is as personal and reachable as Barbara is. I have bought four homes in my life and this was Far most the best experience I had. I would recommend Barbara as your real estate agent. She is calm, collected, organized, friendly and above all has the personality to make any negotiations between both parties involved.
Larry and Barb provided great service to us when we sold our house in Belleville NJ and bought our new one in Oak Ridge NJ. We were really pleased with our sale regarding the time in the market and the price. For our new home search, Larry spent all the time we needed and consequently we found the perfect new home . We are confident in recommending them, and they will remain our "go to " realtors in the future
I contacted Larry in an attempt to sell multiple family homes in Boonton and Paramus. Being out of state, I was worried about the process of getting the homes ready for sale and on the market while not being present. Larry eased my anxiety and went above and beyond to help prepare both homes for sale. Both homes received multi-offers and sold for well above the asking prices due to the planning and execution we worked on together. Larry is personable, professional and proficient but most importantly he generated fantastic results for my family.
I recently engaged the William Lawrence Agency to help sell our family home in Bergen County. Larry’s advice on pricing, timing, and preparation was very important to the success of the sale. Since it was an estate sale, his advice leading up to listing the home was very helpful and he kept me focused on the highest priority tasks in order to facilitate an efficient and successful sale. He kept me updated on the shifting market conditions as we completed preparations, presented the home impressively and provided consistent updates on activity and interest. Within several weeks we received and accepted an offer, which resulted in a closing even earlier than expected. Larry continued to be responsive and involved through the negations and closing, going well beyond expectations in addressing inspection issues and working to assure a successful final walk through. I was confident that I could reach out to Larry with any questions or issues to be addressed. He is a very hands-on real estate professional and I would recommend him without question.
The scariest thing about buying a house is getting started. It’s extremely overwhelming- never mind with higher than usual rates and very little inventory! After reaching out to countless real estate agents and relators in my area and never receiving responses, I was driving to work when I saw a sign outside a house that caught my attention. The minute I got to work, I googled the name and saw reviews for Barbara and how wonderful she was to work with new home buyers. I sent a quick overly-detailed email and I received an email back in no less than 1 hour from Barbara where we were then scheduled for a phone call later that evening. After a brief phone call that night, I was beyond thrilled to have her on our team. She was patient, answered all my questions and really got to know myself and husband as people and a couple which was great. She talked us briefly through the process and what to expect while being very honest, but never once making us feel out of our league. One thing I have learned is your real estate agent needs to be one of your best friends when you’re going through this process. We spent countless weekends out and about. Almost every Saturday and Sunday and sometimes week days, depending on the listing. I swear, Barbara worked all hours as if we were her only client with over a million dollar budget which is not the case!. Every question no matter how many times asked was always answered. She was available via text, phone or email anytime of day. And if she didn’t hear from me- she would follow up just to check-in. Whether it was a house 5 minutes away, or 1.5 hours, she was on it. It was so easy and effortless to be with Barbara everyday and communicate as she’s so relatable. I genuinely looked forward to her phone calls and emails everyday as I always got a good laugh! We always joked around and I never felt like I was bothering her, or creating more work. You completely forget you’re a client when you team up with Barbara. She put so much of my anxiety about this process at ease and made a lot of what should be stressful and chaotic- enjoyable. Even in this market! She always kept our hopes up when we would feel down and reminded us that the house would find us. Update 07/31/23: After a very upsetting change in events after having an offer accepted and closing date set for months on a house, we were devastated when the seller became difficult last minute, and the house fell through- especially when we had already given up our current living arrangement. The same day we officially [had to] move out, Barb had us lined up that same day to get back on the road and start over. She dedicated almost every moment of every day finding us homes to look at while also checking in on us and reassuring us as well as you can imagine- we were a little stressed! Within a week, we had viewed 10+ homes and put in another offer. Barb worked her magic with the listing agent and not only was our new offer approved within days, but Barb worked endlessly with our mortgage company to get us CLOSED and MOVED IN WITHIN 8 DAYS! Our title company’s jaws were on the floor when we told them the story. But most of all, the house we did end up finally closing on the end was the exact home we had originally began our search for! Barb was right- the HOME will FIND you! Even if you have to get knocked down a few times! We have several friends who have started looking over a year before us, and are still looking and are shocked when we tell them our story and what our team did for us. It’s been a wild ride, but would not have even been remotely possible without Barb and our “dream team” of people who not only worked for us around the clock regularly, but especially pulled through and helped us when we were so close to giving up hope. Barb and her family will be lifelong friends of ours, and we’re thankful everyday that we sent that email that morning in March that led to the best person for the job finding us our happily ever after! Larry sold my home in Kinnelon after another Realtor was unable to do so, I wish I had used him to begin with. His approach was practical and effective, his attorney recommendation was top notch, and he helped me meet my time line for a cross country relocation. Barb took us to see many homes. When we found a home, we had to make the purchase work because it was love at first sight when we saw the yard, a backyard oasis. Larry was my real estate agent in the summer of 2021. In a challenging time in my life, I needed to find a new home and I didn’t know what I wanted. Larry patiently guided me though the process as I changed my mind quite a few times about what I was looking for. Things worked out in the end, and I found a perfect spot to suit me for the next few years. Larry made the process seamless. Larry and William Lawrence Agency were hired to manage the sale of my home. Despite having some difficult circumstances to deal with, Larry marketed the property effectively, resulting in multiple bids well over the asking price. When the winning bidder failed to close at the last moment, Larry quickly pivoted to another offer and completed the sale shortly after for even more than the original contract.
