Since 1737. Home of Colonial Williamsburg's Youngest Residents.
The William Randolph Lodging, affectionately known as the CW House, is nestled in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. Originally built in 1737 as the temporary Williamsburg home for William Randolph, Jr., Esq., then Treasurer of the Colony and Royal Councillor of State, the home was reconstructed in 1949 along with much of the historic district. Each year, the College of William & Mary awards a pair of rising seniors the opportunity to live in the William Randolph Lodging. The students host a variety of programs throughout the year – both at the CW House and on campus – and offer students the chance to stay involved in the history that surrounds them. Stay tuned to receive the latest updates on events like trivia nights (with prizes!), holiday parties, contests, games, tours, lectures, and more!
