Do not shop at Williams Sonoma! I ordered a set of plates as a gift. They sent a partial order 3 months later and ive been waiting a year for them to ship the dinner plates to the recipient. I called to cancel because clearly they dont plan to fill the order in a decent time and they keep changing the new estimated delivery dat. They want me to return the plates in order to cancel or wait for the backordered plates that are never coming!. Firstly, this was a gifted set. The company was supposed to ship the full set as is there policy. Secondly, they do not accept used plates because of course the person who received the gift likely started using them right away. Lastly, this was a ploy to make sure they hold on to the order until they could fill it. But why does is take a year to make dinner plates! And there customer service team is rude and unhelpful. No wonder this company is going out of business. Zero stars. Please save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.
Received a partial order after waiting forever for a West Elm Bookshelf. The customer service is the worst you can ever meet. They will reroute you to everyone without helping. Worst customer experience from an expensive brand.
Visited store looking for specific cookware item. I saw several on shelf needed to ask about availability and if there was a sale price in effect. But no sales associate was available or even inquired as to whether I need assistance. Walked the complete store twice. 3 sales people there, but they were very busy unboxing. So i did not want to disturb them and I left. Can look up info on line.
Williams-Sonoma, has always been a place that has great products but that is not all that makes a brand, it is the customer service that elevates it all. This is the reason why I return back to them, the team that works at the Southpark location. They are a group of people that are both professional and empathetic to their customers. They understand that they represent a brand that holds its products in high standards so the team echos just that. Thank you to, Eric to helping us recently in a replacement of one of our defected products. He not only was able to ensure the support when I called in but also was able to guide his time even when he was not there when I went in a couple days after speaking to him on the phone. Thank you for everything that you all do there at Southpark.
Surprised how much they had in stock, especially before Christmas. Higher end kitchen retail shop with a little bit of everything.
Everybody that works at this store is rude and acts like you are a bother for being there. This is the third time I’ve been in, hoping that the other times were a one off. However, they were not. The older woman working the register was rude as can be to the girl in front of me, to the point I almost said something. Then the gentlemen that help me had no customer service skills whatsoever and acted like he was bothered to find my online order. No ID check or order number checked, glad anybody can just walk in and receive paid orders for other people… will not be back and I suggest you not waste your time going to this location. The one in Huntersville has kind employees that are more than willing to help.
12/16/22 : Today was my first time shopping at W & S. Mary greeted us with a big smile and helped me with my Christmas purchases and gave excellent suggestions. I ended up buying a set of navy mixing bowls gorgeous, 2 bread mixes, 2 pancake mixes and maple syrup. My friends loved the mixes and syrup! Thank you, Mary, the Energizer bunny, is a keeper!
Customer service at Williams-Sonoma is very poor for a high end company. I tried to get a representative to help me with an order I placed; I needed to correct a monogram. Immediately after I placed the order I tried to contact them by phone and email. Two hours later, a rude representative informed me she would neither help to fix the order nor cancel the order. She told me I was the one who made the mistake. I realize I made a mistake, but I called Customer "Service" for help with that and they not only refused but shamed me for my mistake. So I paid $160 for a monogramed bathrobe I can't use. I expect better from the likes of Williams-Sonoma. Do not shop there. Zero stars.
If i could give a 0 star review I would. The male manager working today don’t know his name because he did not even speak to me prior to his rudeness was terrible. After having an item that needed replacement due to packaging condition and gift wrapping not being able to be done, he all but threw my receipt and my cell phone at me. I sure hope this isn’t how Williams Sonoma treats their customers…. First AND last time visiting.
Purchased a bottle of casamigos flavored mixer about 5 minutes before closing time. First time going. Store looked nice but not enough time to really browse. Staff was nice. Would return when I'm waiting on my table available again.
