Super helpful staff!! Went in for a bread maker and had an awesome customer experience specially compared to some other city kitchen stores. I think her name was Lily, she was awesome!
Large and beautiful "flagship" store for Williams-Sonoma, featuring cookware, china, glassware, candles, cutlery, and small kitchen appliances. They always stock a wide range of gourmet foods and condiments, as well as a wall of cookbooks, and delightful seasonal items. Their Peppermint Bark is the best I've ever had! The staff is always friendly, attentive but not intrusive, and quite knowledgeable. A word of caution though--you can very quickly spend a fortune here, so wait for a sale if possible.
Came in 30 minutes before closing only to browse items we had already chosen for our wedding registry online but still had a wonderful experience. Both Dane and Michael were attentive, extremely accommodating, and helpful to my fiancé and I. Dane spent time to review cookware and cutlery options with us and even had great tips to ensure we ended up with the best products without breaking our guests’ bank accounts. We never felt unwelcome or rushed, quite the opposite in fact. So incredibly glad to have chosen Williams Sonoma for our registry and look forward to returning in the future for all our houseware needs.
Walked into the store for the first time today. Had the good fortune of meeting an incredible man named David who couldn’t have been more gracious. As well as I thought I knew Philadelphia I’m embarrassed to say I never heard of the store before but I definitely plan on coming back.
Bought a $3,000 coffee pot and put on a store charge, paid the entire balance off once the bill came in and their crooked bank changed me a service fee after the fact and a late charge which they wouldn't remove. You got your $51 and now I'll never purchase a thing in this store, or any other Williams Sonoma again.
ordered a gift set from William-Sonoma which comes with complimentary gift wrapping for pick ups. Since I work close by, I opted to pick up the present and also save $3.99 on gift wraps. Upon picking up the present, I noticed that their definition of gift wrap is just a ribbon around the box with a sticker. This was a bit disappointing as I was expecting the entire box to be wrapped in wrapping paper. Upon calling them back, I was informed that I should have specified that I wanted the gift to be wrapped in paper. Then I was further informed that even if I go back to have them wrap it, there is no guarantee that they can wrap it for me. I then explain that I'll return the gift set and reorder a new one with the instruction for gift wrap specified. Upon this, the lady was suddenly accommodating and explained that I can drop the present off for them to wrap it and I can pick it up later.
Great store but was shopped out due to the christmas shoppers. They need to have more stock on hand. Such as really nice aprons.
May 2016 I found this shop in Philadelphia. if you are up to cooking a fine shop to pay a visit. they have good knowledge bit pricey but good selection of kitchen goods.
Fine downtown version of the chain. Not the largest, but seemed to have most categories assorted. Picked up some knives. Service time was a little slow, but it was a peak holiday week when I visited.
Always inspiration brewing here. Super helpful staff, great samples, tools, spices and sauces for a festive feast.
