Willow Grove is beautiful, and fun. I went 2 weekends in a row because I enjoyed camping there so much. The staff at the check- in are very friendly, there are electric and non electric campsites to choose from. I've stayed on both, and enjoyed the non electric quite a bit. My campsite was #66 this past weekend and I LOVED the shade I had around my tent. I was closer to the water, and shower house, which also has a free on site washer and dryer so you can have clean clothes all throughout your camping experience. There is a dock store past the campsite that was expensive but nice and convenient, and their food was great. If you decide to try their breakfast, order the bacon breakfast wrap. It is so good! I love willow grove campground and plan to keep going back every year :
First visit here for Memorial Day weekend. Pretty scenery. Bathrooms were pretty clean. My wife said her showers were cold in the new facility I had no problem in mine. Courtesy dock is well maintained. Decent spots for land fishing. Nice trail right next door to campground if you enjoy hiking.
This is absolutely paradise, where people care about and are willing to help you out. Just simply very friendly people and the most beautiful place in the world. LOVE IT!! Always go there so much relaxing and fun.
This hidden gem is incredible! Whoever designed it loves camping and campers. First visit but most definitely not our last. The Marina was well stocked and a destination in and of itself! So many sites have great water views!! Love love love!!!
A wonderful place to go camping and boating. They are very family friendly and children enjoy being there. I enjoyed the peaceful and relax time at the campground. The water is very clear and clean. Your can walk in the lake and see your toes. 6/30/2022 The Campgrounds at Willow Grove are well maintained and clean. They still have one restroom down. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. 7/01/2022
Another wonderful RV camping experience. The hosts checked us in promptly and welcomed us to Willow Grove. The information they provided was spot on. Hook up at the site was easy and a nice level spot made leveling a breeze. Our site was high and overlooked the lake below. Ample shade provided relief from the unexpected heat of mid June. Beautiful sunsets were common each of our 4 days at the campsite. Walking to the boat launch provided an even more spectacular view of the last rays of sunlight as the sun set over the green hills that surrounded Dale Hollow Lake. We loved our time here.
Great place to stay! Some of the camp ground host are very nice while some act like they are bothered by campers being there
It's firework show was epic. With the amount of people there, they serve fast, solid priced food. Been going down for years, it's gotten a lot bigger and safer to get too. Live music and outdoor bar areas really allow you to enjoy the lake
Busy place, excellent staff. Convenient location, clean restrooms, and a well stocked store with fast food restaurant make for a good stop for almost any need when boating in the area. Wait times for food can be understandably long during peak hours but if you're able to find a place to sit in the shade it's a nice place to sit an relax for a bit.
We have been here before and had a good experience. This last visit was not as good due to we had the most loud and inconsiderate neighbors. They had 1 site with a RV and another sight with cars. Many people at the site making a lot of noise and did not abide by the quiet time at 10 pm. They also had a radio playing loud at night as well. It seems like the staff at the campground should make rounds in the campground and enforce the rules. We had other relatives camping there as well and they did not come to our site the second night due to all the noise.
