Fun place to shoot but pricing is pretty rough compared to other clubs in the area
A bunch of friends and I group of 15 or so came out to the Winchester Gun Club to shoot clays. None of us had any past experience. Victor and his staff were INCREDIBLE. They were super friendly and helped teach us the ropes. We had a wonderful time and collectively can’t wait to come back.
Went on Sunday December 3rd was alot of fun first time going trap shooting. I think prices are fair planning to become a member soon great staff! Never felt belittled or talked down too, everyone was very friendly. One of the members there joined our session. He was very helpful and friendly never felt out of place or a bother. Will be back very soon!
Went with friends. Was a great time!! Very helpful and friendly service from everyone. We did trap but there are many different activities to try. When finished with everything there’s a nice bar inside where we stayed a little too long. Great service the entire time. Will be going back real soon.
Best shooting experience....I stopped in with my kids for the first time, my son is 17 and my daughter is 11, they both left asking when we could shoot again. The staff made it inviting, exciting ,and fun while keeping everyone safe. They have lights for shooting at night, and the bar had a great atmosphere. We will definetly be coming back!
Been shooting at this place every time I make it up to Racine for the last three years. Great sporting clays course, and friendly staff. Always a great experience, staff treats me like a regular even though I live 800 miles away and only make it up a few times a year. I will continue to recommend to anyone that asks where to shoot clays at in the Racine area.
Excellent staff and very friendly they even pull the birds for you except at sporting. Nice to have all disciplines available sporting clay, 5 stand, trap, and skeet they’re open reasonable hours for people that work as well 5-10pm on weekdays!!! They have a nice selection of rentals and good prices on the couple guns for sale. I shoot here 3+ times a month
Trap, skeet, bunker trap, wobble trap, 5 stand, sporting clays, a nice bar, and great people. This is the best club around in my opinion.
We are making a point to check out as many sporting clay courses as we can during the summer months, from Greenbay to the southern part of the State. We finally had the chance to check out Winchesters sporting clay course today for a round. First impressions is its a small club, the staff was ok, but honestly we didn't have have a lot of interaction with them. We paid for our round of clays and headed off to the course. The course is short and the stations seem to be set-up in what looked like a farm field. It was a hot day, so it was a nice surprise to see a cooler with cold water at one of the stations. We finished our round in record time 40-min. The clays were set-up nice and had a wide variety of challenges. Overall it was an ok course. Prices; compared to other courses it was a little on the high side $25.00 for a round non-member. On average we are spending $18-21 for a round non-member and nicer courses. I would have given this place 3 stars, but due to the higher cost it only warrants 2 stars.
Great service, friendly staff. Came up all the way from Chicago to shoot trap at another range, found that one closed because of the heat. Someone recommended Winchester. Rob took our party of 5 right away, and patiently went the extra mile. Our range officer Matt was friendly and assisted our very novice group. We shall return!
