Winchester Park

Went to Winchester to the Stergon blue moon on 8/31/2023. Photos are weak because I didn't have my tripod. Many people walking, riding bikes, and running on the Jordan River Trail that runs through this park. A beautiful place to exercise. Restrooms: Restrooms are adequatde

Beautiful little park, nice and shady. Awesome starting point for short out and back walks along the Jordan River Trail.

My kids love this park! We usually go on long walks and end up at pond to see the ducks!

This park is very loved by activities. There are walking /running paths along the Jordan River. There's a climbing wall for kids, a duck pond, a party pavilion, and you can kayak down the river. I love bringing my dog here to meet other dogs. They also have festivals during certain times of the year. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are visiting along the walking path. Picnic area: It's near the pond, play ground, and restrooms. They had bbq grills.

Great place to take a walk in the trails! Love the fact that the river runs along the trail!

Great trailhead for the river trail. Had restrooms and a little Boulder field instead of a playground for kids that want to get into climbing.

Access to Jordan Parkway. Restrooms are clean. Dog friendly on leash. No playground, though.

Good place to have an evening picnic followed by a walk along the Jordan River.

Great area to walk and ride your bike ride by the Jordan river parkway. Plenty of parking and kayaking launch areas. Fishing is okay, better in the off-season. Fantastic bouldering wall for all ages. Lots of bugs so bring/wear repellent.
