The park is about 25% full of people who work. I think I was the only traveler. Pad was not level but on a raised area. All dirt and gravel in an industrial area. No one in office so you have to call for anything you need. Good WiFi, laundry and restrooms.
Loved it. Perfect stop for us in our journey from Mississippi to San Diego. We called about 6:00 pm and we’re pleased that someone picked up the call. We arrived around 11:00 pm and loved that there was someone in the saloon to check us in and orient us to the park. The super long pull through was great so we didn’t have to unhook our auto transport. We loved the cute little bathhouse. Very clean and lots of hot water. If we weren’t so tired, we might have gone and danced in the saloon! Great place!
If you are looking for a no-frills stop for the night for $35, this is the place. There are no trees or landscaping but the sites are the longest that I've ever seen. Internet? Yeah, it's there but really slow. I had to use my hot spot. The south perimeter of the campground looks like it is a place to dispose of old sandbags, lumber and who know what else. There seems to be mostly semi-permanent residents but we've been there twice and it is quiet and safe. As a plus, there is a large gas station nearby that is easy to access and get out of. So, typically, I wouldn't give 5 stars to a campground like this but for the price it is a great overnight stop.
Great spot. Prices lower than surrounding parks. Huge pad sites. Laundry and shower facilities that are large and work well.
Mike McLeod was friendly and helpful, accompanying us to our lot and using his truck lights to light it up for us as we pulled in and set up very late. Very clean. Near to the highway which made it super convenient for our overnight stay. Being close to the highway meant that there were traffic sounds but it didn't seem loud and we didn't hear it all when we had music or TV on. We slept great and I would definitely stay here again when passing through the area!
Price was reasonable but the park needs some landscaping and smoother roads. There a dip going from road to site. Good tv reception, got 6 to 10 channels. The temp went down to the 50's but it felt good to sleep under the covers. Our 50 amp didn't work so we use the 30 amp.
We arrived after dark. Owner, Mike, met us as we entered RV park. He used his truck lights to light up the electrical, water and sewer connections for us. He was very friendly and accommodating. Nice level sites. Easy access to trash dumpster as we Departed the next morning. We'll use this park again.
This place is quiet. Very roomy. Facilities are in good condition and customer service is instantaneous. This isn't a state park or koa type scene with trees and lush landscapes. But for 300 less a month, i can go without trees. Wifi actually works and works well. People in the park have kids but there isn't much at the park or close for kids to do unless they like riding a bike.
The owner/operator was very nice. There is no visual appeal to the lots - no trees or variations between lots. The laundry machines were maintained well and the showers were clean. A little overpriced, but we had a good experience overall.
The fellow in the office was very friendly. As mentioned previously, not much in the way of curb appeal, but a good stop over as good as any other park in the area for a couple of nights. Be careful using GPS, as ours sent us south of I-20 & it's only a 1/4 mile to the north.
