My father was in this facility for over 20 years and volunteered there before comming a resident this place is not good for ur family they do not care about ur family they let my father pass away from lack of care when it could have been avoided.They let him suffer and this is not a clean facility i was having to cleen his room and they are very under staffed DO NOT PUT UR FAMILY IN THIS Place. Unless u want they to pass away.......
The facility is well kept and clean. They have a friendly and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend Windsor Rehabilitation and Healthcare for your medical needs. One of my family members works there and loves being a part of helping patients get back to their optimal healthy lifestyles in a timely manner. You should consider them when looking for a rehabilitation center with skilled nurses for your loved ones care.
Seeing the wonderful smiles on our residents faces as they enjoy a fun group game of ball toss with the excellent therapists makes working at Windsor a rewarding experience. Weekly Bingo sessions of course is always a popular event.... Residents run a candy shop were they can interact and shop a little to, Our caring aides and wonderful nursing staff work hard 24/7 to ensure all are safe and cared for each day. I am Proud to be part of this Windsor team...
My 90+ year old parents moved here 6 months ago and have received excellent care. PT's and aides are so caring and really take the time to get to know the residents. They offer daily activities to keep the residents mentally stimulated. Working with elderly folks must be incredibly challenging, and I think the majority of the staff at Windsor are doing a great job.
Both parents moved here when we could no longer care for them at home. The staff and care givers really do care for the residents. They get to know them by name and are very kind. The night shift is also very kind. This type of work is very challenging and the caregivers at Windsor do a great job.
Upon visiting this facility, it is great to see all the residents happy and smiling. The facility looks great and smells good. The atmosphere is very positive. A quaint little facility with a home town feel.
My mother went to Windsor for 5 days 4 nights and she was sent with all her meds labeled in two bags and the care flight that picked her up said there was no more meds. They asked several times. So she has 2 medications that they LEFT OUT!!! I had to call twice and due to poor management and nurses, etc I have to go back and GET THE MEDS!!! Incompetence is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
In September 2019 my parents were in a nursing home in the state of Ohio, the quality and care that they received was not satisfactory. I live in Texas and I decided to bring my parents to Texas. I found Windsor Rehab Center, and from the moment I walked into the facility I knew that this was a safe, caring facility and I immediately made arrangements to bring my parents to Texas. The staff are caring wonderful people, who have been a blessing to me and my parents. The facility is immaculate and beautiful. The facility is beautiful and clean, my parents love the food and I truly feel blessed to have them taking care of my parents.
I was a resident at Windsor Rehab and Healthcare for a few weeks after breaking my hip, I found the place to be exceptionally clean, friendly, a fresh atmosphere, and controlled temps. Personnel is exceptional. Food is great. Made lots of new friends, will be visiting often. If and when I need a forever home it will be Windsor in Terrell, not far from home, family and friends! I feel like I’ve gained family here.
The staff at Windsor have been so helpful during this difficult time in our lives. We never expected to have to put our dad in a facility however the staff made it easy. Our dad has been well cared for, staff are attentive and he really enjoys the meals! The therapy team worked miracles with him and he is back on his feet enjoying his life again. We don’t know what we would have done without the kindness and communication received at this facility! Thank you!
