Attended a children's birthday party. The place itself is nice accommodating a lot of different activities like volleyball, basketball for example. Used the women's restroom on the 2nd floor and while washing my hands, a male staff came in and did not even apologize for having done so. He was probably going to clean up but he didnt let his presence known. He was probably tired cause he was stoic while cleaning up after the party.
They could not figure out where to put us for our activities after our party had started and guests were waiting. Things were haphazardly thrown together as they tried to figure out what to do with us. 3/5 activities we had pre-selected, the coach decided wouldn't work mid-party and never offered alternatives. The coach hardly engaged the kids, thank goodness most parents stayed to play. I RSVPd for 25 kids, they set up 22 seats and gave us a hard time when we asked for more. Couldn't find the staff to answer questions mid event. I gave it a 2 because the coordinator tried to make up for it towards the end of the event by being helpful. Ended my kid's birthday on a terrible note, do not recommend.
Oh no! WCF is closing..Where do we play now?
Rubber courts. Many stars for capacity and use of space. Unfortunately, I was there to play ball... without too much verbiage, the rubber courts were not the best to play ball on. I'm curious how they can even be properly maintained. This review is just my individual preference
After a horrible experience with another program so happy to have found this location! The staff is amazing and attentive. The facility is perfect. My 9 year old is really enjoying basketball here!
thanks to “jake the snake” under new management my new favorite place to play pool & enjoy the great company & watch sports …. thanks for all your hospitality & making this my new spot
Windy City Fieldhouse is a 55,000 sq. ft. indoor multi-sport complex with a all purpose multi-sport floor...aka dirty rubber floor. There is always a diverse group of people here ranging from kids to adults. I come here 1-2 times a week for basketball pickup games. The courts are always really dirty, the ceiling always has leaks, and the building has a number of other maintenance issues. This facility could easily be 4-5 stars if it were maintained properly.
I’m actually shocked at the reviews of this place. It is absolutely filthy and the floors are some cheap slippery rubber making playing a sport like basketball extremely dangerous. They need to sweep all of the piles of dust at the very least and redo the flooring. Also nowhere to sit if you’re playing in a league, no benches. Would not recommend playing here, join a legitimate league.

We have only amazing things to say about the staff and management at WCF. Their events team put together a service project at the start of our holiday party. The staff was thoroughly organized and personable. We had some hiccups before our event, but Murrel and Mike were extremely accommodating to our situation and were able to make last minute changes without any problems. The team that showed up was fantastic and Russel our MC was able to keep all of our employees informed and entertained! If you’re considering hiring WCF for a corporate or personal event, you won’t be disappointed!
