I visited here today for my first time, before closing and had a look at some budgies and met the store budgie boywho is so cute and loved my glasses They are amazing here. Both women who were in the store today are very polite and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They take excellent care of the birds there. I'm definitely going back there more often for my birds toys and stuff. They were amazingly helpful and know exactly what they are doing. I'm happy I found that store and met with the women there!
My boyfriend and I took our two parakeets to get their wings clipped. We were told both of them did well and this wasn’t the first time I’ve been there. We got home and I noticed blood on both of the wings of one of our parakeets. I messaged them on Facebook multiple times because their phones would not allow us to leave a message. I am very disappointed in their customer service and for not being truthful about what happened to our poor baby. I will not be coming back and have already shared this information to others who’ve been going there as well.
I bought my quaker, Diesel, there 19 yrs ago. The staff was amazing. If I ever wanted another bird, I would go there. But, Diesel said no. Love this place.
Before they moved location this was an amazing bird store the birds looked healthy and the staff was well educated. Loved going here. Yes 5 stars fit this. Went there last year after the move and two people sitting there not any knowledge and the bird cages a mess birds look so unhealthy and stressed, dirty water. Broke my heart. Never have been back. And a year later still the same reviews. They need to be shut down and the birds rescued.
They were great with my bird, paid a lot of attention to the stress level of my bird from transport, and wouldn't groom her until she was relaxed. After grooming you couldn't even tell anything happened, pinky was still chill.
The birds in the store looked abused, miserable, and like they are ready to pluck. I volunteered there a few years ago for my high school volunteer hours and I got to work with the birds in that store hands on and see what a happy bird and content bird looks like. If you go in there today you just a see a bunch of workers pretending to know what they are doing and not knowing anything about the birds. They are rude and don't tend to any of the birds. They look rough, they give you look as if they're miserable, and they look like they haven't been given any attention. I know that the place is up for sale at this time, but those are living creatures and this store is now abusing these birds and some look as if they're ready to pluck and some have already begun plucking. I have worked there in the past and I know what a good and healthy bird looks like. The people working there should ashamed of themselves and need to be reported as of right now for animal abuse. Hopefully a new owner will buy the business so these abusive individuals can stop neglecting a creature that has feelings just like us humans.
Love all the birds. Very well trained l, both of my birds have never bitten me. The staff is knowledgable and there is a very large bird toy selection. 100% will be my one stop shop for birds.
This pet store is amazing! Before you buy your pet you can hold the bird you want! They also have cages and unique bird toys. Not to expensive but some are made in Michigan
I love visiting the owner Tracie and her birds. She loves them all. She knows a lot about birds and will answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend this place. All her babies are hand fed...I've watched her feed them.
I have been a customer for more than two years now. This place holds the best on-hand experience in our tri city area. They do their best and it shows. I have 3 happy birds and I look forward to our continued business. They have finches, canaries, parakeets, cockatiels, cockatoos, parrots, african greys, quakers, conures, parrots and more. Come visit. The birds love company.
