I am a student of rrc. Honestly, this is not an ideal college for me. I withdraw from my program on the second day of school. First of all, my program requires some sort of entrance approval, I was late a few minutes at the second time my class, and I couldn’t get in until an hour after someone used the washroom and left the classroom. They say my student id could open the door, but it never works. The second thing I am dissatisfied with is the attendance policy. I need to work hard to pay my student debt which means I need to be absent a few times per month to work…..but that’s impossible as my professor told me that if I miss ten classes PER TERM, I will be removed from my program no matter how well I can do on assignments and exams. That’s crazy……So if you are a future student who wants to work and study at the same time, please think carefully before you apply for RRC. Good luck!
Amazing Instructors in the Construction and Engineering Programs. Awesome teaching aids and lovely support from advisors. Great Institution as the classes are near to hands-on.
If a Student is willing to take education in winnipeg they can consider this college as instructors are polite and college staff too are helpful to an International student if they arn't able to adapt to local environment. There are good and short courses in this College.
Parking is a horror show, they oversell the parking, so even though you had paid for parking there are no available spots left. You either have to end up paying for parking in another lot or they charge you for parking in a spot you can’t park in. Such a money grab, how are students supposed to get to their classes if the college regulates things like this horribly
The fact that you hired Andrew Mckie as a marketing professor is an absolute joke. The man knows nothing about marketing. Showed no form of “actual marketing specialist” he gave all the same strategies as my coworkers that were 19 years old. He sat in his office and made faces to his computer screen, acting as if he’s working. Red river college is a cash grab and a true joke
Honestly, I have already paid for my program with RRC Polytech but I was never given a student username or ID. I have been in contact with Service Desk and Student help for a week and they still don't seem to understand my issue. I keep getting pushed around to different people. They keep asking me to log into their HUB but I have to keep telling them that I do not have a student ID/Student username to do so. I feel like my issue could have been resolved days ago if they just read my entire email properly.
Awesome college to attend instructors sometimes go above and beyond to help you succeed with in reasonable situations that may occur
The more things change the more they stay the same. Was dropping off a kid for basketball practice and was easy to get. However, I had spent some time previously on campus. Don't get me wrong, the additions to the campus looked beautiful but the route to the gym was the same m
It's a nice campus area. With convenient four entrances to campus and ample students, staff, and visitors parking. The college has both modern and classic style architecture, with a playing ground. I like their setting arrangements outside of the main campus building. Studying there could never be boring I guess.
I called continuing education part time phone line at 9.32 am today. Customer service rep. was talking so rudely.
