Have been making this excursion to see the lights for the past couple years. Always a delight. Enjoyed the new displays. Easy quick access since the tickets are purchased in advance. Looking forward to next year.
My husband and I adopted this event as a tradition for our family. I'm surprised it's rated with less than 4 ! Yes, it's a simple drive around a park with beautiful lights, but you can see the effort that was put into make it a magical experience. You can tune the radio and enjoy Christmas's songs while seeing the different scenes they set up around the park. It's definitely worth it!
It’s been a tradition to go to the Winter lights! We love it and enjoyed this years new lights. We went during the weekday cost was about $15 dollars. We were able to drive slow and enjoy the lights. I didn’t like that not everyone turned off their high beams/regular beams. See you in December again!
When you think of drive through winter lights you think of a well lit Forrest. We weren’t impressed at all and my toddlers turned their back. There weren’t many light structures to see and it felt like we were driving through a neighborhood where every few houses had decorations. I enjoyed the experience but wouldn’t come back.
Had the time of our life. Brought blankets pillows and snacks. It's 1.5miles one way then you travel 1.5miles on your way out of the park. Lights were one of a kind!
It was beautiful in some areas, but paying $15 I wish I could’ve seen more. We drove through it within 15 minutes which sucks
I’m glad that we got a chance to check out the Winter Lights Festival. Definitely worth the trip. I would recommend.
This is just a fun event to drive at night to see the light decoration in the park. We did notice a few additions this year, which is great as well as seeing the year after year standards; the castle, the twirling gingerbread, teddy bearland and the light tunnels. The best time to go is during the weekdays, it's a few dollars cheaper and since it's more sparse you can really slow down and take your time. My only recommendation would be that ALL cars were required to drop down to parking lights. Headlights in your mirrors or coming at you really take away from the beauty of the decorative lights.
Wonderful experience! Whole ride is about 20-25 minutes, accounting for 3.5 miles and driving relatively slow. The set up is amazing and you can enjoy it from the comfort of your car!
Very nice lights. Me and my family loved the lights . They are the best winter lights I've been to. I would really recommend this light show for you and your family.
