Wisconsin State Fair Park-Gate 4a

This was my first time going to a state fair and I can say I truly loved it! State fairs are like that one day of the year you get to really enjoy unhealthy food , all the cheese, grease, funnel cakes & lemonade you can eat! It’s also a nice break from the city life depending on where you are from! It’s safe and wholesome! I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing state fair. So much to do and eat but it is more for adults. They do have a spin city section that is for the kids but it is mostly an adult hangout. You will need to with a adult after a certain time. Parking is not to bad but pricy. I usually park in front of the spin city section. Easy to get in and out with i94. Everyone should come here at least one. Also the cream puff taste like heaven.

The 2023 State Fair is one of the highlights of my year. It never disappoints. I really like the generated anticipation that is clever marketing. I love the list of new foods that is available. I also love the fair favorites like the Mexican corn, cheese curds, smoothies and funnel cake. I also like going into the pavilions to see what is new. This is an event that everyone looks forward to every year!

Such a fun day at the WI state fair! This year they had more seating areas/picnic tables! New exhibits! Brand new dryers in the wash rooms! Super clean! More selections of different food and vendors! Lots of animals and shows to see! And of course lots of rides for all ages at spin city! Always look forward to it every year!

My family and I LOVE going to the state fair in August. We try to go here every year. We also go to the state fair park for Harvest Fest in fall. The state fair has so much to do for the entire family ~ kids and adults alike. There are rides and games, tons of food and beverage places, activities for the kids. The expo center is super fun. There is a lot to see in there. I also enjoy doing the pull tabs, which is located in the expo center. Plenty of bathrooms with no wait time and they were clean. Cost for an adult ticket was 18 dollars and a child one was 13 dollars ~ ages 6 to 11. And children five and under are free to get in. We purchased tickets at the door as it was easy. You are allowed to bring in water bottles. Check purse and bag sizes before going as only certain sizes are allowed. Plenty of parking. We parked off site at a local persons home for 15 dollars and the walk to the fair was super short. They accept both cash and cards here. You do have to go through security and bags are checked. Tons of friendly people. I highly recommend going here! Make a day of it because there is a lot to see!

What a chance to bring out your inner child! Same Fair atmosphere as when we were kids but just bigger now! And we can actually purchase adult beverages... sorry about the Budweiser picture we did actually pass right by a place that was my frequent visit. Hope Dylan is enjoying her/ himself

We watched the rocking local band from Eagle/Mukwonago known as Altered State and had a phenomenal time. Dave Smith, the bass player was one of my best friends back in the day. Skip the lead singer played trumpet and I played sax in highschool. Mike and Rob Howard the drummer and lead guitar were some of the coolest cats in school and I remember hearing girls talk about how they wish they had the twins' hair. They rock covers hard. Played at Knuckleheads tent representing the bar restaurant in Eagle which I have not been to yet, but am planning on in the near future. And State Fairgrounds!!! All the fun I remember and more. They had the regular corn on the cob and cream puffs, but also pickle donuts and pickle corn dogs, anything you can dream of to eat. And of course beer. My father-in-law loved it. My sister loved it. My wife loved it. My kids loved it. My niece loved it. My meatball buddy who looks like Goldberg, Sacha loved it. One more shout out for Altered State. Rock and rollllllllllllllllllll!!!

We had great family time together. Good food, great exercise and fun rides. Next year I will plan on going two different days because I feel like I didn’t experience everything

Awesome experience. The rides were exciting. I didn't like the animal pedigree show. Didn't like the way they were forcing the animals to pose.some of the show sheeps were stuck to a table with straps on. The goats and cows seemed happier.

The State Fair was amazing this year! Perfect weather! Lots of great entertainment, food, and beverages! The rides were pretty reasonable as far as prices!
