Great selection of furniture to choose from. Sales people are nice and give you room to look around without hovering. Prices vary and are comparable to the places around.
About a year and a half ago, my mother in law purchased a rocking recliner for my wife to nurse our newborn in. When the chair was delivered, we noticed that it sat lopsided. Looked into it, and found that the leg base was bent. Contacted Gardiner's in Bel Air, who then directed me to their Service/Parts Dept, which I had to call and explain the issue. Lucky for us, my mother in law still had the original receipt. Rather than a new set of legs being sent, they stated the whole chair had to replaced. Ok, whatever. New chair arrived and was delivered in July 2016. Not quite as comfortable as the previous one, but ok... it is what it is. So, here we are in March 2017, and the recliner handle broke off. To my dismay, it appears as though as it had been glued before see photo. Went into Gardiner's, and was immediately approached by a Salesman who immediately gave me the Service/Parts Department number. Called the Service Department, and after several holds, was first told that the chair only had a 1 year Warranty. After explaining it had already been replaced, and was less than a year old, the person told me that the handle was a "Premium Part", and was only warrantied for 90 Days and I would then have to contact their local technician who may be able to get me a price for the repair. Are you kidding me?! I looked up the part online and found it on ebay for $10.99. Congratulations, Gardiner's; you've earned yourselves the loss of a customer, and a negative review for all the world to see for an $11 part and some Customer Service.
Very good! Kevin the sales rep that helped us greeted us at the door. He quickly informed us of the sales and pointed us in the direction for what we were looking for. Most of the furniture that would tried was definitely comfortable and there was two pieces that we are currently considering. I'm glad we came.
Bought a $1800 Cat Napper couch. Paid half down including a $150 warranty. Paid the 6 month same as cash in 3 months. I was initially satisfied with everything, until.... The couch broke 4 months after purchase. It took 2 weeks for a repairman to show up. The repairman said it would take 2 weeks to order the part. After waiting 3 weeks, we called for an update. We were told by customer services, that the part wouldn't be in for 5 more weeks. We called after the 8 weeks for another update. Customer Services reported that it would be 2 more weeks before a repairman could be scheduled for a weekend that I was off. At the day of repair, he was 1 hour late beyond the 3 hour scheduled repair time frame. And he didn't have the right part. He left informing me that it may take an additional 2 weeks to order the correct part. I still don't have a functioning reclining couch. Needless to say I've learned my lesson about shopping at Wolf's Furniture.
Great Furniture Store! We're so very pleased to have received a donation from Gardiner Wolf Furniture. We have shopped for furniture several years ago and the quality in itself is worth every dollar spent. The experience from all personnel could never be replaced. I would definitely continue to recommend family and friends. Again, we thank you kindly at Madi's Place and look forward to future purchases.
Since sold twice, the quality of the furniture is poor. Does not meet my standards. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The delivery people were in a hurry to get to the next stop, they didn’t set up my sectional properly, was not hooked together, the chair was damaged and exchanged and the warehouse forget to send all the pieces . We requested a refund and the policy is you only have 7 days after delivery for return or refund on a non special order. So we are stuck with junk . We will not recommend Gardner’s nor will we continue to do business with them .
Had no idea what to expect before going to Gardiner Wolf Furniture. We found what we were looking for, attractive well made furniture for a reasonable price. High quality well made furniture isn't cheap, and it wasn't, but I believe the furniture was worth the price. Our salesman was knowledgable and very helpful, but not pushy. Enjoyed the experience. Time will tell if the furniture is as good as I think it is, but so far I believe our choice was wise. Happy customer.
For a furniture store, this place has a lot of variations to view and give a test. The sales people are eager to please, friendly, nice and even though there is a car salesman kind of vibe, keep in mind that they respect me when I just want to sight see so I don't get that pressure to buy. I love the variety of fabrics and material like dense thick wood, thin metal, modern, colonial and even crazy high tech with LED lights. Recommend stopping by to see all the great furniture they offer.
James was amazing as we had lots of questions and looking at several options. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person than James for his knowledge and patience with us as we made our choices .. After ordering our furniture we made 2 more visits for additional items & James was amazing of helping us with Absoutley no pressure and let us shop at our own pace... James made this a pleasurable experience from start to finish and we couldn't be happier … We cant thank him enough for making our home so beautiful . James is our furniture Salesman for a Lifetime
I hate doing these things but as a business owner I take pride in things running smoothly and a customer getting a pleasant experience. The 2 stars I gave my experiences is generous, the delivery guys were polite and got the job done quickly, but the downfall was the delivery ran way past the 2 hour window i was given. I strongly recommend checking your order before you pay for anything bc there is plenty of fine print, i specifically asked for a certain bedroom set that came with only part of the set and got a mirror I didnt want to add. Thats not even the worst part....my delivery took 3 months and when it was supposed to arrive they had 2 foot boards instead of a head board so I didn't even receive that with my other stuff. I already ordered a mattress that is waiting for its frame, so when I called them today to ask when it might come in, i was told they would call me back but never got the call. If you are looking for furniture quickly I dont recommend this place. I wish it was easier to deal with bc i live close and I think the furniture looks good.
