I had an issue for many years that I thought I was going to have to live with. However, I was fortunate to have been referred to Pelvic and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. The referral was the best thing that could have happened and it changed my life for the positive. I was nervous on my first visit, but the inviting atmosphere and staff eased some of that feeling. Dr. Maureen was my Physical Therapist and she instantly put me at ease. She is not only easy to talk to, she is very compassionate . She is extremely knowledgeable and quickly got to the source es of my problem. It was obvious that she is passionate about her profession. Dr. Maureen made an individual plan for my specific needs and did not follow a “cookie cutter “plan. She is beyond amazing and a true miracle worker. I highly recommend Pelvic and Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
First, I am that person who NEVER writes reviews…however I feel compelled to share some thoughts about a fantastic team of healthcare providers that are doing wonderful work to help those who are in a unique situation. My experience with Dr. Maureen and the team at Pelvic and Orthopedic Physical Therapy specialists was absolutely fantastic! After searching for this specialized PT post major surgery, I was so fortunate to find this team. I came to this practice with the inability to sit without pain for 30 minutes at a time. Today, I am so pleased to say that after a short period of time under Dr Maureen’s care, I have graduated to having the ability to sit for hours without pain. Also, Dr Maureen’s professionalism, compassion, and personality make this type of treatment program comfortable and easy to stick with to program completion. If you are seeking this type of care, call now—don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!!!
In preparation for prostate cancer surgery, it was recommended that I see Maureen both prior to and after surgery. I started about 4 weeks pre surgery and saw her a few times post surgery. As a result, I recovered very quickly and very well without many of the common complications of this type of surgery. Maureen is extremely knowledgeable, caring and never made me feel uncomfortable. She truly cares about her patients. I’d encourage any man going through this to start work Maureen a few weeks prior to your surgery as this really made a huge difference for me.
Love this place and its people! I've seen therapists here for both pelvic floor and "regular" knee injury therapy. They've been wonderful about all of it, listening and thinking and adjusting and generally just being excellent providers. I also appreciate the attention they pay to public health measures. There weren't too many places I was willing to trust during a pandemic pregnancy, but I always felt safe here!
What a great experience! Not only was I made to feel comfortable and welcome each time I came in. But the physical therapy I received was on point and resolved my issues quickly. Molly was so great to work with. I left better educated and with exercises I could do at home to keep exercising the area. Would recommend to anyone!
I don't normally take the time to write reviews but just wanted to say how much I was helped by Maureen. In just over a couple of months, she helped me with an issue I had struggled with for years. She is kind and you can tell she really cares about her patients. She made the sessions very comfortable and I would definitely recommend her!
If you are looking for fantastic pelvic therapy as well as warm, helpful, and caring staff this is the place to go! My highly trained therapists Molly and Natalie have been beyond amazing and have provided me a wealth of information and tips suited for my specific needs. I highly HIGHLY recommend coming here!
Simply a wonderful place. After double hernia and knee surgeries, any type of strenuous exercise left me with serious back and hip pain. After several years of x-rays, ultrasounds, daily pain medication and traditional physical therapy, no one was able to identify the source of my pain or resolve it. After a couple of months working with Anna and Dr. Maureen, I am now at the point where I am pain free on the majority of days. On those few days where I do have pain, it is next to nothing on the pain scale. Both ladies are caring and have great personalities. Just perfect for the type of therapy they practice. If you are ever told men can’t have pelvic floor issues, don't believe a word of it.
LOVE everyone at this practice!! Very knowledgeable and professional and personable! From Ingrid at the reception desk, to Maureen in Intake, to Natalie who's an Amazing teacher and so gentle and knows her stuff! If you need pelvic floor help, These Are THE Folx!!!!!
So much empathy, knowledge and kindness from Natalie. I can not say enough good things about Pelvic & Orthopedic PT. Natalie as well as the rest of the Team are amazing. They have given my Life back to me! If you are willing to do a little bit work as well as listen to your body almost anything can be achieved. This is what they have taught me. Body, Mind and Spirit. Nothing good comes easy. The PT treatment and training requires patients. We should be willing to learn in the healing process. I feel So fortunate that my OB GYN knew about the treatments avail. at Pelvic & Ortho. I am forever Grateful and Thankful. Jen K. Arl.Hts
