This is the greatest OBGYN office! All of the physicians are extremely educated and personable. Dr Rudolph has been my doctor for over 15 years and she is incredible. She treats me like family and takes the time with me. She delivered my two boys and is truly incredible. I am so thankful to have such wonderful doctors!
Avoid this clinic at all costs unless you are wealthy. I was discharged without notice due to being unable to afford an $800+ exam that my physician told me was optional. Their front desk also continued to harass me about getting the exam done after I had told them multiple times I could not afford it. I’m completely appalled at how my situation was handled and I hope sincerely that my review will help other women avoid this kind of embarrassment.
Laurie Gibbons is absolutely AMAZING!!!! She is so sweet, personable and compassionate. I’ve been going to her for 4 years now and she feels like family at this point. She takes the time to explain everything. My entire pregnancy journey and birthing experience was awesome. Even during the difficult moments she was truly a blessing.
Totally agree with the last reviewer. As in many practices around FL, the front desk really drives the horrible reviews. The doctors are wonderful but no way to get an appointment, no follow-up, no effort whatsoever in getting an appointment. I have been with my OBGYN at this practice for SEVEN years, and 2 with the endocrinologist. And I can't get an appointment or a response from the nurse. I guess is just great they are so busy.
Wonderful doctor, terrible service. One week prior to the appt I just walked out of, I was requested to fill out paperwork for my visit and I did. I was advised during my visit they cannot access what is in their own database and provided a form to complete with the exact same information. I was instructed to arrive 15 min early for my appt. which I did. After waiting an hour with no one saying a word to me the entire time and watching patients for the same doctor being taken back despite arriving after me, I left without being seen. This after waiting 6 months for an appointment. I guess they feel they have enough patients. So, if you don't work or if you have time to waste sitting in a doctor's office, I highly recommend. If you have any type of plans or a job or just prefer being treated as if you and your time are worthy of dignity & respect, find another doctor.
Terrible experience with making an appointment at this office, the person I spoke to was extremely rude and made me feel bad about being pregnant, I was very nice to her from the beginning until the end of our conversation. I specified which provider I'd like to see and gave her an option of a different provider since my first choice provider didn't have anything available, and at the end I was scheduled with the midwife without any explanation to as why I can't see the doctor, no communication at all. I wanted to see an OB/GYN doctor because of my condition and I didn't feel comfortable seeing a midwife. I called Boca Raton office, I waited on the line for a while, despite the fact it was passed 5 PM, their office hours, the lady I wish I remembered her name was so nice and understanding and she scheduled me with the provider I asked for and got an earlier date for the appointment, she explained every step and was so helpful. Is it really hard to be nice and make sure everyone has good communication and experience? Boynton Beach office needs a better front desk team!
The front desk that answers calls here is absolutely horrendous. She is blatantly rude, she cuts you off mid sentence, and based off of these previous reviews I highly doubt management is addressing this with staff. Why work in a GYNO office working with women's health and pregnant women if you’re going to be rude and nasty to them. You all have some amazing providers but the front who is literally the face and voice of your company is running people away. And before you send out and automated response, YES I would like the office manager to contact me personally.
Dr. Newman is a great doctor and person. He goes out of his way to communicate with his patients and make sure their concerns are answered. He is always calm and cheerful and just down to earth. I have only been a patient for about 1 year but I am very happy with the office and the doctors I have met so far. The staff has always been friendly and courteous but I also make sure to be nice to them because I'm sure they deal with all kinds of attitudes during the day. There is always a wait at any doctor's office I have every been to so I expect that- sometimes it's very quick and other times I have had to wait a little while so I just bring a book and not get frustrated at the doctors and staff for taking time with patients that need extra time because sometimes that might be me... I have never had issues with appointments or anything else. I definitely recommend this office and especially Dr. Newman!
Laurie Gibbons is just the best - she always seems so happy, makes you so comfortable & takes time to explain any concerns I may have. I am always nervous going in - not a huge fan of exams... Weird! Lol - but I always leave very happy that I went!
First off Laurie Gibbons, the midwife is very sweet and caring! However the comments about the front desk from other patients is true. Every time I’ve called to make an appointment they do have a attitude when your trying to make an appointment with your provider. I’m sorry, I have a work schedule too, so can you give us a chance to figure out the day and time when I am available to correlate with the providers schedule? The boynton beach office is difficult because the providers that you want are not there on a normal schedule so that makes the accessibility challenging. Boca seems to be better. Also be aware that they are not an office that will give you ANY heads up whatsoever about a potential bill. The insurance representative at the office states, and I paraphrase, “the girls up front do not know anything about that.” They check in and and check out unaware of codes, visits, insurance. She states it’s not their role. I do understand patients do have responsibility to find out costs from their insurance but most offices I’ve been to do help with this and make you aware to help protect the patient, because they don’t want patients calling the office upset and wasting both parties’ time. That’s fine, theres many other offices.
