I use to like this pharmacy a lot in the beginning because I never had to wait long for my prescriptions. Then I started having problems with a constant refill of medicine when I didn't need them and claims were getting put in for refills without my knowledge. I mentioned it to them several times but it didn't make a difference.
Wonderful family pharmacy. My family and I have been using this pharmacy for years. The owner always goes over and beyond for her customers. Delivery service also available. Also, I’ve found great finds in her store. Call ahead for even quicker service. Her staff are courteous and helpful. I’m happy I switched from CVS to this pharmacy.
I am pleased with this pharmacy. In the beginning, there were some hiccups that aggravated me. Some of which were staff. After a few months, everything was ironed out. I stuck with them because I really try to support small businesses. I am glad I did. The current staff are polite. They are always busy, but they pick up the phone, they work hard. I hope they continue to grow their pharmacy.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! This place is completely unprofessional and unsanitary. Also, there is NO care from the business. The local CVS cares more than this place. They underfilled my 3 month old daughters prescription and refused to fix it or comp me since I took too long to notice their mistake. When I came in for the refill, they printed the WRONG DOSAGE and still got the volume wrong. I complained but the pharmacist or owner did not care and just deflected any responsibility towards myself or my doctor. Yet we never had this type of trouble with other compounding pharmacies. Please just go somewhere else. I’m all for supporting local businesses but this is one that does not care at all. It’s bad enough they don’t call when your prescription is ready
I have been with this pharmacy since it has opened. I've never had a problem here. Nittal it's so caring and kind she's always concerned for my well-being. If I've ever had a problem she has always strained it out I'm going to CVS and their lines are long the people are rude and they don't even know me by my name this is a pharmacy that is on a more personal note I would not want to go anywhere else I love this pharmacy
I have been getting my prescriptions from Woodbury family pharmacy for over a year now and I have had great service from them. Prompt, courteous, informative and supportive .I always feel like they listen and care about my well being. I would highly recommend them
They charge an extra $5 to your bill without reason/permission!! A couple months ago I picked up my medication at the pharmacy. I pre-paid over the phone and was told my prescription is $35 but they charged me $40. I let it go as it is only $5. I just got a refill of the same medication and when pre-paying over the phone, they told me it will be $35 + $5 for shipping. When I checked my credit card statement, I was charged $45 instead of the $40. I called this time because they have now over-charged me two times. The employee says "we will work on that" when I asked about my refund. One time may be a mistake, but twice? I don't think so
Do not even bother to go here. The grumpy blond lady technician apparently thinks that I didn't understand her when she told her coworker "tell him we don't have it" without even trying to look for it in the shelf THAT'S RIGHT BEHIND HER! Her coworker was nice enough to do so. And this grumpy lady also at the beginning of the transaction, immediately said "well, did you try CVS?" -- No, lady I did not try CVS because there is a big sign at your window of the brand I am asking you about. Please please, do yourself a favor, unless you do not need to go to this place, find another family pharmacy or just avoid the grumpy blond lady there. Thanks
On the plus side: the staff is very polite and their prices on prescription meds if you're paying OOP are usually lower than anywhere else. And, they still make deliveries if that's important to you. On the down side: Woodbury Family Pharmacy is possibly the most depressing retail space I have ever entered. It appears that they completely stopped buying items for retail sale e.g., non-prescription meds, first aid supplies, cometics, etc several years ago and have just been selling down their inventory since. Take off a star for that. I take off another star because although their staff is polite and helpful, they are poorly organized. I've had the wrong prescription filled or the right one not filled on multiple occasions, and had to request at least three times that they not fill prescriptions until I request them. I still use WFP because I want to support one of the few remaining independent retailers in Woodbury, but I wish they'd tighten up their act a bit.
I would give no stars but it won't allow me to. This place is very unprofessional and rude. They are extremely shady and disrespectful, so be careful. The owner was showing extreme racism once, when i was in the store. It was very sad to witness and if i saw it the way i did im sure it happens all the time. Also They will only help if you have good insurance or paying cash. Each week they change the prices. They raise it like $100 more than the week before. They will take advantage of you, Especially if they know you need this medication to stay alive or you are very sick. They do not except coupons or any discounts like other pharmacies. Honestly, All I can say is be careful and pay attention to your prescriptions, the count of how many you are supposed to have, also the prices of the rx and which person you are dealing with. I would definitely recommend you go next store or some other pharmacy. The only positive things I can say is it is cleaner then before and the shelves are more stocked and they actually have your prescriptions in a timely mannor, but i will say that it will take hours for anyone to help you.
