Woodlawn Foreign Car Service Center - Woodlawn Garage

I have brought my car here on multiple occasions, with the most recent being last week to have one of my tires inspected. This is hands down the best car service business I have been to! They always do good, honest work at a very reasonable price.

Great customer service and advice. I called just before Christmas trying to get my car in for service because it died on me, and my local mechanic thought it was an issue that a specialist would have to handle. They were unable to fit me in before the holidays, but took some time with me on the phone, and gave me some advice on what I could check on my own. The advice was spot on. I was able to correct the problem pretty easily, and now my car is working fine again. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic people. Fantastic service. I tried 3 different shops before coming here for a electrical problem in my VW. Dealer said $1800 but these guys resolved it for $200 bucks. Owner is very honest and humble. I'd say it's the best German car mechanic in the city.

I was visiting from NYC when my Mercedes Benz R350 experienced 2 screws in 2 tires. My brother quickly suggested that I visit his mechanic, Jack. Jack had one of his associates take care of me promptly. He explained that my tires needed to be changed, but he would plug them and I could make my return trip to NYC. The icing on the cake is he didn't charge me.. If I already didn't have a paid appt to get 4 new tires on this coming Tuesday, I would have purchased tires from Jack. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My car started shaking and the check engine light started flashing out of nowhere on 76 on my way to work the other morning. I drive a VW so I was worried whatever the problem was would be expensive to fix. At a coworker's suggestion, I looked this place up. I was seriously floored at how friendly the owner, Jack, was when I called. It turns out my engine was misfiring as a result of needing new spark plugs and coils. Jack quoted me different price ranges for my comfort level, depending on what level of work I wanted done they offered to change my oil and check my fluids etc in addition to fixing my main problem. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of with predatory pricing. I will be taking my car here for services in the future! Woodlawn Garage Specializes in VW? Well, that could stand for Volkswagen but it could also mean-- VERY WONDERFUL!!

I honestly liked the owner however I paid 200 for a diagnosis and still left not knowing what was exactly wrong with my truck. I was told 100 for the check engine light diagnosis. I was called and told he needs to take something apart to see if it is clogged or a sensor went bad. I agreed but when I picked it up I was told he didn't take it all the way apart and still wasn't sure what it was for sure. Overall I will still go back here and have him do work on my Benz truck. He is very good and knowledgeable with foreign vehicles. Just kind of got off to bad start but will give second chance

The best customer service I’ve had. They were nice and knowledgeable. I needed breaks really bad and they squeezed me in and got the job done for a great price. I was all over the place and didn’t have my insurance card for my inspection. I was able to send it to them through email and they were nice enough to give me a printout. I will definitely return.
