BEST WINGS IN THE TRIANGLE. I’ve been coming to Woody’s for well over 10 years now and this has been the most consistent bar I’ve ever found. Even with increased wing prices everywhere over the past couple years, this place is still worth it. The medium sauce is thin but sticks to the wing. Peppery with a subtle sweet flavor on the back end. The Philly nachos are also a must as a shareable app. Woody’s is great no matter which location you go to but I’ve found this Cary location is the best. Also, don’t forget to try their wild egg-roll options when you go to the State Fair!!
I liked this place. The food was great as well as our waitress. However, some lady kept coming to our table, it seemed, every 5 mins to ask how we're doing. I found that to be a little extreme. Other than that, everything else about the place was great!
It's amazing for partying. I went with my friends and enjoyed the music, lights and TV and service. There was a lot of fun stuff with LED lights and status. The food was good and the drinks were also good.
Eclectic sports bar establishment. In my first experience, i watched regulars get greeted by name and exchanges similar to family. I love wings, and they did not disappoint. Crispy well prepared, and the medium sauce was an unexpected flavor hint of heat and sweetness. Staff was friendly and gave prompt service. I would recommend going!
Stopped in to revisit a former college day destination and little has changed. Plenty of TVs and open seating with great grilled wings and sub par service. Why the management tolerates bartenders who openly eat in front of customers and do everything other than provide basic service is beyond me. They fail to run simple appetizers and salads out promptly. Unfortunately it’s just poorly managed and despite a few great menu options the juice ain’t worth the squeeze.
I've been coming here close to 20 years. Best damn wings I've ever had. It's a fun sports bar with pool tables. Great place to grab a beer with friends. The sauce is spot on. Mild, sweet and hot are all amazing. The wings are big and crispy on the outside. Wish I'd gotten a pic last time but I will get one next time to show u all how amazing they are. Not sure about other food. The mixed drinks are okay but if u want good wings there's nowhere better. Edited to add pics. 7/10/22 update: consistently delicious wings. I get mild, there is still has a little heat to it. A+
Mango Habanero wings taste like Tabasco sauce. Not sure if they know what a mango or a habanero is. Had two beers...still waiting on my server to come to take my orderbfor another or cash me out. It's been 30 mins....1st time here and definitely last time as well.Food: 1/5
Being from upstate NY and also being to the Anchor Bar quite a few times in years past, combined with having a passion for GOOD chicken wings this is 5 stars all the way. Everyone who serves wings should fresh cook their wings. 15-18 minutes is nothing to wait for something as good as these. Some of the other menu items and sides were a bit pricey but I haven't had them yet so I can't complain because as long as their other stuff is as good as the wings, this is still far into the 5 start category. 40 minutes door to door for me and I'm already planning my next trip.
I went to Woody's recently for their Trivia Night and had a great time. The Woodys crowd is fun and casual and they offer a great sportsbar menu and atmosphere. The trivia was well done, and it seemed like the whole place was playing. The food was delicious, I got the Buffalo Chicken Fries and tried several of the beers on their expansive draft list. Our server Justin was super attentive, helpful, and friendly, giving us great recommendations and certainly made our visit even better.
I love Woodys, I typically go to the Morrisville, NC location but stopped here last night. We had a new server, she was nice and working hard. I ordered 6 wings but by mistake they brought us 12 wings. When the server realized her mistake she brought me a Togo box and asked for 6 wings back. I looked at her in shock but proceeded to count out the wings. Once I was done and had given the 6 wings back, the server counted them. I didn’t care about not having the extra 6 wings given to us by mistake but I was shocked after their mistake they requested I give them back. Furthermore I keep wondering what happened to the 6 wings I touched when they took them back in the kitchen.
