The gamja tang was good but I wasn't quite sure if I liked all of the side dishes. But I definitely loved the cubed radish kimchi.
Went on a Friday around noon. The place wasn't that busy. Service was as good as it could get. Very attentive. The beef was very good. The pork was cut thin but lacked flavor as it wasn't marinated. Chicken was seasoned spicy and was good. The little appetizers came out and kept coming out. We actually had to tell the server that we didn't need anymore when he bought more out. Highly recommend this place.
My friend and I ate lunch there on a Sunday. Not crowded. We did the table BBQ. The server was very sincere and attentive to what we needed, and all the side dishes were included in our order, so we could get refills as much as we wanted! I've been there several times, but it was my friend's first time and the server explained the menu very nicely and demonstrated how to do the grill very simply. The food was awesomely delicious. The restaurant was clean. The biggest impression was how sincere our server was the whole time. And the food was awesomely delicious.
Very pleasant here! The food was very good and very authentic. That is rare for Korean restaurants in Illinois as only other is a place north of here. This is a great choice for Korean food. The servers are actually polite and friendly. Do you want to have Korean food? If your answer is yes, you WILL WANT to go here.
Excellent in every way. We love it here. Authentic Korean cuisine. The staff explains dishes you are unfamiliar with and makes modifications for you. The food is so delicious. One of our favorite restaurants.
The food here is so amazing. I highly recommend the fish soup here. So fresh and tasty. The service is wonderful. Mr. Jun serves us and he is so warm, professional and considerate. The place is very clean. The dinning area, restroom, and the driveway all are clean and well maintained. Will definitely come back again with more friends.
We arrived around 9:00 on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. When our waiter greeted us, he brought with him cups of tea - which I thought was a nice touch. It was also quite tasty. We ordered the Dolsot Bibimbob entreé and Samgyeop sal Dubu Kimchi side dish to share and both were authentic and delicious. The service was excellent throughout and we left satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for genuine Korean food.
Food was great. Menu selection and atmosphere were very good. Will try the BBQ the next time. Yes will go back again for sure. The people were very nice also. Seemed like family ownership.
We came with a party of 4, seated quickly, and promptly serviced. They explained the entire way you're supposed to cook and eat the food. It was all very delicious and easy to prepare. They will help you if you aren't sure how to cook any of the food they bring you.
A Korean restaurant with okay food at least to me that still can be enjoyable to many; they are not bad, just that in terms of Korean restaurants that are pretty dispersed and hard to find around Chicago, I feel that this is average. It is convenient place for Korean cuisine around the area. It is slightly overpriced when compared to any restaurants near by. They did disappoint me with one meat entree, which I thought I would be grilling the meat, but came as a pre-cooked and chopped food at a smaller scale...at high price.
