We did a LOT of research on all of the hotels within a mile of Woolley’s. We read tons of reviews across many trip rating sites. We really enjoyed this place. The room was great. Very spacious, great bed, really good AC that is very quiet, huge bathroom. Location is close to the airport and to 70 into Denver. The food is fine - whereas most of the other hotels nearby generally only have a minimal breakfast versus a buffet. Also - the restaurant is open until 10pm - which is great for coming into DEN late in the day.
Such a wonderful hotel! It is not a chain but a single owned property. The staff is awesome and the breakfast buffet is fantastic. Rooms are all suites and huge. Very plush and comfortable. The area around the hotel is so new and clean. Tons of great walking options and restaurants. Will be staying here every time I visit Denver.Rooms: 5/5
After traveling for a week with our adult daughter and her boyfriend, I booked a room here with my husband as a birthday gift to myself. I wanted to relax, and that is what we accomplished. We arrived just before regular check-in time and had no problem getting into our room. I wanted to take a hot soak in the bath, and I did enjoy that. After some downtime, we decided to keep dinner simple; takeout pizza and watch a movie. Went to pickup the food and came back to the room. Watched a movie and ate pizza. Nice a quiet! Slept great in the big bed, and the next morning headed to the airport to get home.
It is an amazing hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms were very nice clean. It was a great place to relax and recharge. The only negative thing I have to say is that their lounge/restaurant said dinner was open until 10, when I pulled up a seat at the bar to order food at 9:30 the bar tender informed me the kitchen was closed. There were plenty of restaurant options within a 5 min walk, so it wasn't too big of a deal, but if you are open until 10pm, the kitchen should not be closed at 9:30. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Nice hotel with spacious rooms and baths. But I found the heat very difficult to regulate. It was either stifling or very cold. Alao, avoid the hotel bar and grill. I had the worst Caesar salad ever made. RANCH dressing and dried out chicken.Rooms: 3/5
We stayed only for a couple of hours during a layover at Denver Airport. We very much enjoyed the spacious and sparkling clean room. Also the service has been very friendly. Would definitely come again when returning to Denver.Rooms: 5/5
This place is so underrated! It was so clean! The beds were super comfy! The bathrooms are amazing! They offer real cable channels like HBO! They have microwaves! They provide daily cleaning service! It is a restaurant and bar on site! Service is excellent! I mean can I go on...lol...the only thing that I was disappointed about was that the pool is not heated but atleast they have a pool and it's a great size too! So, no complaints from me!
When weather causes cancellations of flights, there’s a general rush of disgruntled passengers trying to figure out alternatives. And when an airline United in this case actually provides a hotel and food voucher, one might be skeptical as to quality provided. The prairie surrounding Denver International Airport is littered with an improbably high number of massive hotels. If I’d ever noticed Woolleys Classic Suites before, I don’t remember it. The name congers up warm winter underwear. But I was genuinely impressed at every aspect of this of this “classic” hotel. And having visited over 30 countries over the past 50 years, I’m gonna say this place reminds me of some of the “classics” in Europe- only cleaner. I can only speak about the room I got, but it was huge. Lots of “extra” space. The bathroom itself was bigger than some entire hotel rooms I’ve had in Asia. Large shower AND a deep tub. The bed and bedding were luxurious. Oversized chairs. French doors opened to the cavernous garden atrium. I could hear the water feature gurgling. The breakfast buffet was priced higher than United’s voucher. Passed on that. I may be back for a romantic getaway with my wife!
I loved staying at this hotel. I stayed only for one night prior to flying out of Denver, but it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are beautiful and high quality. The entire look & feel of the place screams luxury. The only complaint that I have which was a bit of a doozy for me as I work from my laptop was that the wifi was terrible. In addition to that, I did not get great phone service AT&T is my provider, which can make a difference, so I wasn’t even able to use my phone’s hotspot to get work done. I think the quality of the hotel itself made up for that, because instead of working, I ordered room service and watched movies. The room service experience was great as well. It took probably 45mins - 1 hour to get my food and it was packaged and prepared carefully and tasted wonderful.
Beautiful upgraded hotel, beautiful koi pond and real trees inside. The decor is very nice inside the hotel room as well, nice big bath and separate shower. It has a nice aroma as well when walking into the hotel. Great breakfast buffet which is $16.95 per person. Also ordered the Brussels sprouts and spinach salad and it was delicious! Would have rated 5 stars except the fire alarm went off multiple times at 6 in the morning on my last day. I didn’t know if there was an actual emergency or what and it woke me up from sleep in a panic.
