We recently stay at this hotel and I was not impressed. We booked our room 3 weeks prior and when we arrived, our room was not ready and the front desk said that we could wait until one was but cannot give me a time. It was already 8 o’clock and we were very tired and wanted a room. The front desk had no customer service skills. The guy was very rude to my husband, as we were trying to check in. We finally got our room and it smelled stinky. The air did not work well and the room was very hot. The hotel overall was not clean. Since I’m a Marriott card holder and this is a Marriott hotel, I should’ve had them just upgrade me to the Marriott across the street since I did not have a room available when I got there and because it was nasty . I will never stay at one of these hotels again. They did not have a free breakfast available, everything they had was way over priced and not worth it.
5 Star Experience! What a pleasure it was to have our leadership meeting at the Aloft in Denver. Jordan made sure we were taken care of from the first phone call to the day after our stay. 7 of us were flying in from different states and we needed rooms and a meeting room with meals each day. We had members with dietary restrictions gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc and she handled like a pro! Jordan even made sure we had rooms ready a bit early for a few members that had early flights into Denver. The rooms were spotless, and she was mindful to place us in rooms with beautiful views. And she even left a note and some snacks. Nice touch! The staff was kind and gracious and helpful as well. And the bar has great drinks if you want to just chill and relax after a long flight. The shuttle runs every 30minutes -there is a signup sheet at the front desk to make sure you have a spot on the shuttle. Going from the airport to the hotel by shuttle was a breeze! The day we arrived, Jordan was right there to go over the meeting room and to ensure everything was how we needed it to be ex.white boards, flip charts, markers, Av equipment. All of it was provided. The meals provided for breakfast and lunch were delicious too. We are very happy with how seamless it all went. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to Denver! Rooms: The rooms were spacious and clean and well stocked with towels and coffee and water. Nearby activities: It's close the airport and near to restaurants as well as great site seeing areas. Safety: The entire area is quiet and felt very secure. Walkability: There is a Starbucks in the hotel across the street as well as a nice restaurant we ate at one night. Also, Ted's Montana Grill is close, their food is quite good. They serve bison! Food & drinks: Meals provided for our meetings were delicious.
Very Clean exceptional staff. The Matress felt like you were in the back seat of your carlol Complimentary breakfast sandwich was fantastic. All facilities very Clean. Easy parking. A little pricey On the inside bending so I would hit a convenient store prior for snacks and drinks. Overall, a wonderful experience.Rooms: 4/5
I was between flights and chose your hotel. I was absolutely amazed at how comfortable your beds and pillows are! I have such a hard time sleeping in any bed other than my own. This trip I was asleep in less than 10 minutes. All the comforts of home and fast internet was so helpful! Diana at the front desk was amazing. She was so helpful with all of my requests and questions. She was a breath of fresh air on this journey! Keep up the great work. I will definately stay at your hotel and will highly recommend others to do so as well.
We thought their Airport Shuttle would run all night. Our flight was delayed due to weather. No shuttle after 1130. Nothing free for breakfast except coffee. I paid $6.54 for a small yogurt. Very disappointing..they are 12 miles from the airport. Recommend you choose one of the others nearby.Rooms: 3/5
As a long time Bonvoy member I usually choose Marriott as my first preference when leisure traveling. However for business my company uses this hotel, as we have a contract. The male staff member who covers the late night shift; is terrible! His attitude is not pleasant and he is very rude. As he was checking in my work group, he spoke condescendingly and stated " he didn't care" several times. To have a contract with this particular hotel & this level of unprofessionalism is not acceptable.
Religious materials splattered all over the room, and it looked used. Offensive. No coffee or tea was available in caddy. It had already been used up by whoever was there. Housekeeping was on the same floor simultaneously as I got there at 3 pm. I mentioned this at the front desk. There was a 15-hour difference in my flight and hotel stay, and the staff laughed and continued working. Not the best, new experience.
Make sure to review your bill at checkout. They automatically charge $12 for self-parking. This property seems to have a moisture problem. They are trying to dry the lobby with dehumidifier and fans. My room was rather musty.Rooms: 3/5
My family and I came in late and had no initial problem checking in. There was no parking in the front so I asked the young front desk girl if it was possible to come in through the back with our key card. We stay at this hotel every time we visit Denver which is every 4-6 months. She tells me I can use the back door and insists that even if it’s locked she’ll open the door. My family and I park in the back, and have hands full of bags and suitcases trying to go through the way in the back, we go to a door where she can see us and wait for her to open the door and she sits and does nothing gesturing for us to go all around the back to the front bc she is refusing to let us in after having the initial conversation. Someone passing by sees us struggling with bags and opens the door from the inside for us. The girl at the front desk tells us that she told us that awhile ago and it no longer stood it had been 20 minutes and all 20 minutes had been used to get bags and suitcases from the car. Fast forward to later in the night, 3:30 am, the hotel room phone is ringing over and over and hanging up and ringing again, finally we answer and it’s an automated message letting us know we had been signed up for a scheduled wake-up call. In the girls anger, she signed our hotel room up for a 3:30 AM wake up call. Livid is an understatement.
Beautifully designed hotel. Extremely neat and very welcoming customer service. Rooms are well kempt and toiletries are surplus. Gym, restaurant and pool are available for your convenience. Shuttle are prompt to and from the airport. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
