Description

Interactive escape game located inside the Bright Center in Old Town Winchester. Choose between two different rooms. Our themes change every two months so there is always a new experience and new challenges. You have one hour to complete the puzzles. Points are given for puzzles solved and time used so you can compete with other teams. Team photos and scores are posted on our Facebook page. We went to this local escape room as a team building experience. We were able to figure out their hardest room with minimal help! The owner was very accommodating and assisted us only when needed and requested. New star market and Melody porch cafe recommends this fun little adventure in Winchester!
We had a great time. Everything was very well run. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. It was most of the group's first time and we chose a challenging room. We nailed it of course. Can't wait to go back and try another adventure.
Lots of fun. We didn’t quite make it, but were soooo close! Well run rooms. Looking forward to another adventure soon.
There aren’t clues, it is all number based and you have to get lucky to pick the right numbers for the right locks but nothing to assist with the order of resolving the locks. There is no flow from one lock to the next. The one overlay/word key was poorly drawn and did it line up without having to adjust every line. One of the locks we used the correct combination for over 10-min and it did not work. We know it was correct because the employee confirmed it was correct. Edit to respond to owner: clues should be available in the room to indicate what order to solve puzzles. There was no such flow indicated by any of the puzzles it was just by luck to figure any of them out. We never refused any clues or help from the staff member. We did not break anything open. There was a drawer with a lock on it that was not fully closed to begin with and opened without the need for a key. Nothing was forced, your staff just failed to close it properly when they reset the room. And the lock that didn’t open with the right combination was done properly over and over, it was not user error. We successfully opened another lock with the same function.

I recently went to Worlds Away Escape room with some friends and it was good time! The room that we chose had good challenging riddles and puzzles that made you feel satisfied after you solved it. 1st time escape room visit. The manager was great with working with our team. The story line and presentation were cool. Dont tailgate prior because you got to solve problems to get out the room. Glad winchester has this place.
A bit difficult to find, guess that was just the pre-game for our escape adventure. Our game master was very friendly and the room well thought out. We did The Cabin and got out with 23 seconds to spare with two people. Would definitely go back again if we ever travel through Winchester again!
We visited for my daughter's nineteenth birthday. We did The Nightshadows Room. We finished with 4:05 left to spare. It was very entertaining, enjoyable, and fun! The manager sorry, forget his name. Tall, skinny, ginger. Was an awesome storyteller, has a great personality, very kind, & helpful. We will definitely be returning soon!
