I have required several visits over the course of months, and have always been pleased with the treatment and service from Dr. Wade and his staff. Dr. Wade is knowledgeable and efficient, his staff is friendly and attentive, and their facility is always clean. I would recommend this facility to anybody requiring wound care.
I think this Wound Care facility is top notch..Dr Wade is great..He has helped my husband immensely..He takes time & listens..His wound is healing great with Dr Wade's care..Also his nurse Eli is wonderful .Efficient..Very professional..Main thing is in a couple of weeks the wound is just about healed...Yay..
November 2019--Recently my wife was treated for a cancer radiation burn on her left leg that was infected and would not heal. She was referred to the Wound Care Center at Huguley Hospital for treatment. Hesitant at first, her concerns were soon alleviated after meeting with Dr. Wade and his staff. I cannot express how welcome Dr. Carlos Wade Director, Kathee Horn Clinical Manager, all the Clinical Charge and Wound Care Nurses—Alisse, Ashley, Eli, Jaymie, and Tiffany Front Desk/Insurance Guru made us feel. From the initial intake through the final treatment, this team of highly qualified professionals were more than caring and compassionate --ALL of them. I don't normally write reviews and I'm not paid for this one but these people went above and beyond normal medical protocol. My wife was treated with respect, dignity and caring the entire time. There was NEVER a time where her questions went unanswered or her feelings weren't considered. I would highly recommend this center for wound care. I would give the Texas Health Huguley Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine more than 5 Stars if I could. There just aren’t enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how wonderful these professionals are. My wife is healed and all I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
I've only had 1 visit so far, but I am very impressed with Dr. Wade and his nursing/office staff. My experience with my incision site has been stressful and this office has showed more kindness and compassion than I expected. As of right now, I highly recommend them!
I do not recommend this place at all!! I called, left a voicemail that my wound looked bigger this morning and received no call back! I called the receptionist to request dressing for my wound and to run it through my insurance, no call back either . The back office staff is horrible . Not coming back for my next appointment.
