History
Established in 1949.
Dr. Clifford Wright,Jr was raised in Bethlehem and attended Muhlenberg College. He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and began practicing in Bethlehem Township in 1949. Thus the Wright Veterinary Hospital began in a renovated barn on his parents' farm and part of the original stone wall is still visible in the hospital today. The hospital started out with only 2 employees Dr. Clifford Wright, and his wife Louise.
The hospital has grown with 4 owners and a staff of approximately 70 employees. Dr. Clifford Wright Jr practiced veterinary medicine for 58 years. His belief and passion was to create a hospital that would evolve with the times so that practicing veterinarians and staff would be able to provide the best care possible for your pet.
