I highly recommend this shop, and here is why: I have been from loctician to loctician throughout my 9 year journey and noone has been reliable prior to Wyld Hare. This is an actual salon, with an actual address, contact info, and they take appointments and photos after! These are not random humans at a festival willing to put their hands in my hair after paying outrageous amounts, these are people who love what they do and they do it for a very reasonable price. Ezra and her team and great, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, kind, and best of all they asked my wants! They even ask how you want your margins, and that's a game changer for me :. I visited Wyld Hare Dreadlocks to get a partial install of wool dreadlocks. The experience from start to finish was exceptional and definitely worth the wait. It was so much fun getting to pick out each individual dreadlock from a huge variety to create my set. I found just what I was looking for plus so many extras that I didn’t even know I needed. The owner & her team were so welcoming & kind throughout the service. They provided thorough information on caring for my new style and answered all my questions. Last week my wife and I drove up from Chattanooga TN with our friends to visit Ezra and her Dreadlock family in the amazing town of Yellow Springs! It was a weekend we'll never forget. My friend decided she was ready to begin her dreadlock journey and did her research and immediately Wyld Hare called to her, having traveled years ago to begin my own journey, I knew it was meant to be for her to find her own starting point, so we booked appointments. I have been to many Dreadlock artists across the country over the years and I am always looking forward to meeting new ones. This trip lived up to all of my expectations plus more!!! Ezra and Ryan have such an amazing spot, the rich feeling of warmth and history surrounds you as soon as you walk through the door. Everywhere you look there is so much attention to detail on the decorations and displays and so many hand-crafted beautiful items for purchase, I spent hours taking it all in. The first day was dedicated to her install of gorgeous Repunzal locks, Ezra and Raquel were focused on my friend the entire afternoon and made her feel like she was part of the family within minutes, meanwhile Ryan took care of another customer's maintenance and even went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and well hydrated. The day was perfect. The second day was for my appointment and maintenance, Ryan took care of me the entire time, starting with a nice consultation from Ezra give my locks a clean bill of health and some suggestions for the future. We shared stories about life and got to know each other for the following couple hours, meanwhile my wife and friends chatted and colored together with their badass little daughter. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my friend and myself. She was over the moon with the entire weekend and so proud to be a new dready and part of the family. As I mentioned previously, I have traveled the country throughout my dreadlock journey and have visited many different studios and I am continually blown away by this community, each artist has their own special vibe and connection they make with their clients and I am so happy I was able to add Wyld Hare to my list, I am already looking forward to returning, I can see this being a yearly event! 10/10 recommend for installation or Maintenace! Wyldhare Dreadlocks was the absolute best experience I have had with my hair. Ezra asked questions and helped come up with a plan for maintenance. I have never had anyone be as thorough, genuine, kind, and patient as her. Her work is outstanding! My only regret is not finding Wyld Hare sooner! The space and atmosphere is amazing. I had an amazing experience at Wyld Hare Dreadlocks. The entire team was highly skilled, professional and beyond friendly. I've had multiple maintenance experiences by other "professionals" that left me wary and nervous to try again, but I'm so excited that I gave this place a shot.
