Will not stay again. Essentials are missing: shower knobs were defective, shower drain was clogged, lighting in room was absent, bathroom lighting also defective, in-room coffeemaker didn't work, the one elevator was so small very few people were able to use it so using a luggage cart took about 45 minutes. Needs a thorough cleaning and some basic remodeling: the TV remote was gooey, floors were dirty, sheets were stained. Environment: the hallways were filled with marijuana smoke along with people smoking in the hallways. Definitely, park under one of the bright lights in the parking lot and avoid leaving valuables visible in this area. But the staff were very kind and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. The location is convenient with easy access to major thoroughfares going in and out of the city along with quick access to various restaurants.
The rooms was super comfortable and clean. Every staff person we met was very friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The breakfast bar was one of the best I’ve ever had during our travels. The kitchen attendant ensured the area was clean, changed items on the bar each morning so extended travelers would have options, and really friendly and knowledgeable.
The property itself was as stated on the website. The staff is really where this place truly shines. They were helpful, informative and extremely pleasant. The rooms were perfect with the right balance of luxury and necessities. It will definitely be my regular place to stay when I'm in the area. Rooms: Were clean and tidy with a good amount of amenities. Safety: Exterior doors were secure and cameras monitoring was on-site and adequate.
I have always liked this hotel, but here's a word of warning. Don't let the weed heads take over because you assume everyone smokes. Breakfast is always good the rooms are somewhat clean. I saw a big roach in the bathroom. Have your housekeepers do a better job and get a good exterminator.Rooms: 5/5
A little hard to find, up the hill that's next to the gas station, but once you are checked in... a very quiet location. Variety of options for breakfast. Front desk very welcoming and informative. Spacious room and good gym.Rooms: 5/5
Housekeeping is so rude. They refused to change my bed sheets after telling them I spilled a large sprite soda on the bed. They told me to take off the sheets and place it on the floor by my room door in the hallway. They never came to make up that bed. The woman was very nasty with the way she spoke to me and my grandson. I won't return to this hotel again. Everything else was great. But housekeeping is the worst. Food & drinks: Breakfast was superb.
Got a best deal on this hotel room within DC area and decided to try it out. I was looking for hotels with Free parking and this place has lots of it other hotels go for $25-$50 a night. Also, breakfast was included which was nice but nothing fancy - scrambled eggs, sausages, corn flakes, some fruits. The room was actually quite nice, definitely a solid 4* star. Sheets and everything else was clean. Good shower and water pressure. Location is only 10-15 min drive to downtown DC and it’s right off the highway which makes it a super easy access, however, morning traffic will easily make it 30-40 mins. There is a pool on site as well. One thing i didn’t like was outdated hallways but that’s not a big deal, other than that this place was great! Rooms: Clean rooms. Bed sheets were fresh. Safety: Felt pretty safe, out of the way hidden in the hills. Walkability: The hotel located on the hill so it might be a challenging walk for some folks. Food & drinks: Basic options of vending machine snacks and breakfast was included in the price. Eggs, sausage, coffee, juice, cornflakes, apples, bananas, waffles and pancakes.
1.When we checked in, the front desk did not explain that the entrance to where our room was completely on the other side of the hotel, not walkable must drive. 2.When we reached our room, the TV did not work. We called the front desk 3 times and were told the maintenance man was coming after 1 hour we requested a room change because it was obvious the maintenance man was doing no maintenance. 3. We asked where was a recommended place to eat, The front desk had no idea... offered that McDonald's was down the block or I could Google it. I felt like wow, you live. work here at least have some idea. 4. Bathroom sink water smelled like sulfur.
I love that this hotel was close to all my destinations. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The only thing from giving a 5 star rating was that the bathroom smelled of rust but very strong. The room was cleaned, and I loved that it had a microwave mini fridge and coffee maker. Oh I also loved that the staff was bilingual. Great place to stay Food & drinks: The breakfast was also good we had different choices to eat and drink.
The pictures of this place are quite deceptive. The motel is completely run down place. The bathroom is small and dingy. The elevator area stinks. The keys stop working again and again. The breakfast is in a small area with poor lighting and the quality of breakfast is not great. Wroten apples, poor quality of bread, flimpsy plates, poor coffee etc sum it up for you. The location is in an awkward turn off the highway and is hard to located without a gps. Once you reach the motel, the first look is depressive and it it keeps going down from there.
