Took my 3 yr old granddaughter and dog on a leash to West Side Park to play on Friday, August 5 about 6:30. While walking to the playground I was approached by a lady that told me I couldn’t have my dog at the park. A little bit of disappointment for my granddaughter when I caught up with her and told her we had to leave. This was not a very friendly experience for the city of Hospitality!! Dog-friendliness: This is a public park and I’m told I can’t have my dog at it. Nothing in the description says I can’t have my dog with me at a public park.
Grew up here back when it was babe ruth and watching it be cleaned up and reused properly makes me happy. #XeniaTornadoes
Needs a better skatepark
Nice clean park where kids practice football and have fun at the skateboarding complex. Its been there since I was a kid and as an adult coached my kids in football and baseball. A park with tradition and history and hope its there when my grandkids start playing sports.
Need more parks like this
If you'd like to be left alone this place is great,if your going for your kids to meet and play with other kids, find another park.
City could do more to maintain the baseball diamonds and skatepark.
Ramps are kinda small but is good for about 4-9 people at a time enjoy it with my friends
Great place for kids on bikes, scooters or skates to ride without a lot of bigger kids.
