Nice shoes but not really any help. The workers sit around talking to each other and don't speak to you. A nice lady Marie helped me. Talk to her for help.
I usually like Macys but I didn't enjoy my experience in the shoe department recently. I was shopping for my mother as we had a funeral the next day and it was late at night. I finally found comfortable shoes that she could wear, but the shoe had an imperfection. The associate took a brush out to see if it could be buffed out and said "oh it's just glitter." It clearly wasn't glitter but rather a deep scratch in the suede and told her so. I asked if I could have something off. She said, "Oh. Well, it says as is."I asked her where it said that at? She said on the receipt, which i clearly didn't have yet because I didn't buy the shoes. She tried to tell me "oh I can't take off a percentage. See, it's grayed out on the register for me to take it off. " Everyone knows you need a manager for this, but clearly, she didn't want to take the extra step. Like I said, we were in a pinch, so I had no choice but to buy the shoes. But then afterward, she looked me in the eyes and says to me "You can't return them". I looked at her thinking she must be off in the head because I wasnt even thinking of it and I said " I wasn't going to" as if I was that desperate to get the money back. The other issue I have is that the Macys backstage is a complete mess. There are clothes all over and disorganized, making it extremely hard to want to shop in there as it's very overwhelming. Which is a shame because they have nice things there. On a good note, there is one very nice cashier associate who works backstage wears her hair in braids. Over the years, she has been consistently respectful, friendly, helpful, and always puts the customers' experience first.
I’ve been shopping here for over 10 years and have never had such a terrible interaction as I had with the MAC counter manager, James. I had come in to return a foundation I’d ordered online that did not match my complexion. I was working with another representative when James came up and inserted himself, targeting me for reasons I do not know. He refused to be accommodating to my requests for help, yelled at me, told me I didn’t deserve respect, and that he didn’t have to be professional because he’s the manager. He refused to give me his name but I was able to see it on the Starbucks cup he had on the floor- which is concerning as it can’t be sanitary to do people’s makeup while drinking coffee. He claimed that in order for me to return products to MAC, they had to be sealed and in sellable condition- even if purchased online. I have never heard of this practice in all my years of shopping with MAC and I don’t believe it to be true. When I left, he continued to yell at me through the store and told me he hopes I’ll “go far” with having figured out his name. I was able to finally get a refund after working with the very kind Macys store manager. I believe her name was Jamilah. However, I would advise against shopping at this MAC as during this whole experience, he was training another employee on their first day. If this is the culture of targeting and harassment MAC considers acceptable, I will no longer be a customer
Just picked up some dress shirts and pants from this Macy's. The staff helped me out and were friendly. It's not perfect but still is a decent store in Willow Grove. There's a lot more other items/products available here with great prices and discounts.
Very nice and clean store. They have a great selection of high end clothing, jewelry, furniture, and bedding. The staff are very helpful and nice too.
I experienced excellent customer service at this location. I purchased an item months ago at another location Cottman Ave and was never issued a refund after returning the item. Syed, who was extremely courteous, assisted us throughout the entire shopping process and helped me to receive my refund. Paul, the store manager, was quick to help and very understanding as well. I am a frequent customer and will definitely be returning to this location in the future.
Love Willowgrove Macy’s, it’s by far my Favorite Macy’s to go to. There’s this 1 cashier who is such a sweetheart and so helpful. She remembered me from just my being there one time when a storm knocked out the electric so the wait was a bit longer bc the registers had to turn back on and reboot. So now whenever I’m in that Macy’s I make a point to see if she’s working. I’ll always wait in her line bc she’s friendly, pleasant with a great sense of Humor that knows her job well, and is a fast cashier. This store always has the best selection from jewelry, to men’s, juniors and Women’s clothing. Love the Perfume/cologne selection as well as the purses! I’ve bought many of my purses here, and will continue to do so. Along with sneakers and shoes this is my go to for everything including bedding as well! I obviously bought the nike sneakers, and both black and white shoes! I wasn’t taking my sock off to try on the white pair of shoes, with the pandemic going on! Also the levi T-shirt my friend has on, bought that as well. My other friend whose trying on the blue boots also bought them as well!
Just picked up shoes I ordered one looks new the other look worn, update returned the shoes at the same macys was help by a lady who gave the greatest service I received. I came in upset about the shoes and left with a smile I appreciate the experience she gave me
Lance and Coco was great they helped me out a lot in the perfumes Will definitely recommend both of them they are great and they take their time to help you Great experience The only problem I had they was one worker there named mila older lady She was very disrespectful and very mean towards me and towards the people that was helping me out Do not ask for MILA I heard her arguing with the people that was helping me and she was back talking them for no reason It was like she was trying to mess up the sale that was not professional Besides that it was great that's the only flow mila needs to be fired immediately
