This place sadly day by day is getting worst. The a/c sometimes works. Most of the time is broke. all the cardio machines they few that they have left they are broke too. Very dirty place. Not even paper towels in the bathroom. If you want to use a machine need to wait a lot of time. I been complaining to get them fix it but is point less, they never do it. Is not worst it I will not recommend at all.
Higher prices, lower quality standards. Dirty women locker rooms, no hand washing soap, dirty steam rooms, old broken equipment, people constantly recording ladies rear ends. The general manager obviously doesn’t care about this place and many of his employees don’t care to make a sale. I had one guy give me an attitude when I asked if the C4 was on sale and his demeanour changed when a manager appeared. All because he didn’t want to stop talking to a female employee. Know where you’re at and please do your job! I can keep my hard earned cash to myself or take it to another retailer! Can upper management do better please? My favourite cardio machines had their televisions removed, why? you guys claim we have new an improved gym equipment? Where? By the way yesterday I smelled a strong weed smell coming from the employee locker room.
This place has the potential to be a pretty decent gym, however, the way it's being run makes it sub par. The toilets/locker rooms are beyond disgusting and rarely cleaned. Even when I do see the cleaning staff, they're only spot cleaning and not doing a thorough job. Other gym equipment frequently breaks down and they take weeks to fix it. There's always something wrong any given day. Here's a shout-out to the management to look into this mess. Until they do, stay away!!
I’m not one to ever want to write bad reviews but this place deserves 0 stars. Place is so filthy, machines never work, and for some reason every time I’d get on the stair master and it was raining outside, without a doubt water would drip onto my forehead. I spent a good amount of money on their personal training services 16 classes over 1k for only being able to use 4 classes total and not get a refund, every time I kept trying to schedule to meet, they always had an excuse to cancel last minute or not even text/call me back. Tried calling for a refund and told me I’d have to bring a doctors note that I’m not physically able, I am very well capable of going but seems like their PT employees just can’t keep up and I am not paying another penny towards this gym for the membership. I’ve been to many gyms and this is honestly by far the worst, you’re better off going to a planet fitness in the area, cleaner and better customer service. Save your money
I've been going to Xsports Alexandria, on and off, for 8 years now. Back in 2015, it use to be the best gym in the area. It had the best staff Adam,Rob.. the best personal trainers big lou, Zuani ... It was super clean with 2-3 people working the 3rd shift there is only one guy now, no wonder the place is a mess I don't have anything negative to say about the staff. They are doing their best, they are just understaffed. *Steamroom is out of order for some time now *The carpet needs to be disinfected and vacuumed at least twice a day. That's why the gym smells like sweat * Cleaning logs should be introduced to whoever is cleaning the basketball court because it's a mess * About half of the treadmills don't work * NO TOWELS. Idk if it's because of covid or not * Because they don't have a card reader, a staff member has to manually enter all the information on your credit card Manually every time you purchase a bottle of water for example. Anyone behind the counter can easily steal your dough. Honestly though, Like Why? Even street vendors have card readers like square or something
Yeah super irritated because I moved out of state in September and put in my notice that I was leaving in August and I continued to get billed as of today! I have called them every month asking why I keep getting billed and have spoken to kaleen the manager about this. It is so annoying because I cancelled in person with an associate at the gym. I got billed in September called n asked why? They said this was the last month I was getting billed and that it said my account was no longer active and then got billed again! Yesterday now I have to call we customer service number because no one knows how to simply cancel an acct ! Stop billing me I don't go to your gym anymore ! And also stop lying to me and telling me my acct is cancelled when you still have my card on file !!
Non of the water fountains works . Been like this for a long time. And the mini dryer for the members been out for a long time . Gym used to be great but I think the management really doesn't fix or maintain the place at all .
I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for MONTHS. No one responds and I continue to get charged. Then the website says you need to send a CERTIFIED letter to Aurora IL. This is crazy. The gym isn’t worth this much trouble. And all the responses to every poor review is clearly a generic cut and paste message. All I want is to cancel the membership for a gym I no longer want to be associated with.
Please everyone be aware of scamming managers.Furqan general manager and his management team at XSport Fitness are scammers. English is not my first language and I am not so good with reading the contracts. They quoted me a different price verbally in person and wrote a different price on the contract. On the contract in multiple places it said $1680 and then in fine prints in one spot it mentions $2240. I contacted customer service, they said that they do not believe me. I don’t feel bad about the money, but I feel bad about being lied to and scammed. They will go based of what’s on the contract. Please read the contract in very detail before signing it. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT PERSONAL TRAINING AFTER YOU HAVE SIGNED THE CONTRACT.CUSTOMER SERVICE AT XSPORT Fitness IS JUST ADVOCATES OF THE COMPANY. THE SHOW ZERO EMPATHY TO A CUSTOMER WHO FEELS THAT THEY HAVE BEEN SCAMMED. Please pleaseee read this before going to personal training session with this gym. Plus, No one in this gym does their work right. I moved so I contacted the gym to let them know to cancel my membership. The same general manager that signed me up for the session did not ask me for anything and said it’s done. IT WAS NOT DONE! I HAD TO CALL back to customer service to find out that I needed to provide a proof of relocation. I emailed them my new driver’s license and they cancelled it.
