My overall experience with the corporate office at XSport has been terrible but this review is for the staff and managers at XSport. They have been so helpful in trying to solve my billing issues. In particular Erik. He went above and beyond. Great communication skills, understanding and kindness. It's a shame that the corporate office is the way that it is because all the employees at this location are fantastic and they're doing the best they can with the resources they are given. Thank you to Erik and the other managers at this location. The 5 stars go to you and not corporate.
This location is is the best I've seen as far as set up. I enjoy going in before work. The class rooms have dimmer lights which really set a nice ambiance for stretching and warming up. Nice and clean from what I can tell and steady not over crowded traffic.
It's decent in space. However, they have way too many cardio machines and not enough strength training machines. There's always a handful of machines out of order too. I'm starting to think it's notorious for Xport.
Great gym local to my job in schaumburg...pool is very useful even though it's not deep, but middle lane is good for laps...never used the hot tub. Gym is spaced out enough so even when crowded you can still get a great workout in. Get what u pay for
Just a perfect place for spots. Guy, pool, steam rooms, tan rooms so on.
Gym is definitely outdated with worn equipment. No bumper plates either; however you can't beat the hours and amenities.
Nice place to update your extra fat. Friendly and helpful staff. Respectfully participants, the thing that is bothering is, they need to put signs by the swimming pool that the users need to take shower before entering the pool and the sauna users shouldn't go inside with shoes. Moderate prices, not harmful to the wallet. Very good explanation for everything , what you should and what you don't.
I will never forget how amazing many if not most of these people are! They are great, generous, and loving humans, to say the least! But, there’s like this opposite thing happening at the gym and if you ever enjoy yourself, there is that minority, very few, but they are there, in the pak that make sure you stop enjoying yourself and they have an ego trip about it to the grave. They treat their jobs like they are curing cancer in seriousness, but just create a bad vibe, and ultimately sit most of the time. Their water filters aren’t working, all the sudden, even for those, cough, cough, that enjoy filling their water bottles at the gym. God forbid you need to sit on your computer and a janitor says you are in his way to one of this hooligans, you will end up having a person seeking to vibe you as much as possible for as long as you go there while they still work there. It’s just unfortunate, when life is tough as it is, to have this happen, let alone not say something about it. Thank you for understanding!
I am member of the location, August 22 morning 7 am visited front desk for change of membership. since last 2 months i am not actively going due to some schedule. First of all i came to know that some one else pics on my profile pics i don't know how change my profile pics there. there is a lady was there, she told me for that i need to see the manager, so i request that if you can't change my membership then cancel it. She tried once and she replied that she don't know how to do it. she told me to come later, While i had seen her since last 6 months there. It' clear that cheap mindset and there is no customer service. It's customer fault they have choose Xsport and this location so all the requested is handled by manager only and you have to visit when manager is available rest of staff is only for excuse. Beware All we all are paying and for any request accepted only on manager's availability for anything. This is ridiculous and pathetic for employee. God bless them !!
I like the place but had a safety issue with a treadmill. The treadmill was having speed regulation issues which caused me to almost fall off of it. I ran on a second treadmill to confirm it was the equipment and not me. I reported this to the manager, we said he would mark the treadmill 'do not use.' 20 minutes later, he still had not marked the treadmill. This is a nice place but I can't give a positive review to a place that ignores safety issues brought up by a customer.
