Yellow Springs Community Library

Nice place to read newspaper or books, get on computer. Polite and friendly librarians. Have activities for children.

For a small library, fantastic selection of books, DVDs, and music. Other items for browsing include video games, language learning software, and magazines. Great and cute children section and an activities/event room that seems to always have something interesting going on. Just great place.

This is definitely the locals' library. The staff knows the patrons by name and asks about their last checkouts. It feels old-fashioned, but in a good way. The building itself is pretty cool too: a front entrance right off the street where they sometimes hold concerts and two rear entrances from the parking lot. One side of the building is floor-to-ceiling windows and you feel like you can sit there and read for hours. They also have a meeting room.

I love this library. Friendly staff. Well laid out. Bright. I am able to check out art to display at home!

Amazing children's selection. Great place for the kids to hang out after school. Staff is so friendly and helpful.
