My family went to this location for the first time a few weeks back and it was fun for everyone. We had a cabin and tent spot. Both were very nice. My nephew and I both won candy bar bingo. The staff is very nice and helpful. My nephew even had a dance battle with Boo Boo but sadly my nephew lost. Boo Boo was a great dancer. We got to wake the bears one morning and that was very cool. Sadly we didn't get to catch Yogi out but hopefully we will next trip.
Staff were very friendly and the activities were fun. Park was clean. There were two water slides advertised, but there was only one functioning. The bounce pad was only open for short times. The basketball court was never unlocked. Not much to do after about 4/5 pm. Other Jellystones we've been to had these functional until dark and even after dark on weekends. We had a "premium" spot that was sad. Barely enough room to even sit around a fire pit and there wasn't a picnic table as advertised.
This is nothing like Jellystone parks we’ve visited in the past. If you’re looking for a parking lot to park your RV, this is the place for you! But don’t expect any family fun or activities. One bathroom building for the whole park, no wifi even though it’s listed as an amenity, the pool closed at 8pm even though there aren’t lifeguards so I’m not sure why it matters when it closes, very little shade, no hay ride, no activities, no Yogi or any other characters, no movie. My young kiddos were pretty upset. There was a shuffle board location, but no equipment to actually play. Overall very disappointed in this location and would never return. You should be embarrassed to claim this as a Jellystone Park.
Great RV park . but in hot summer months don't stay in cabins .we had issues with the air conditioner the whole time of our stay .it was 78 to 81 degrees in our cabin . the management did all they could but still couldn't fix the issue . Very clean park and very nice staff . Just don't rent cabins .plus they had one torn up stained up love seat to sit on for a cabin that sleeps 6 people .they might want to update their cabins .when a love seat sits 2 people where are the others going to sit .
We enjoyed our first stay at a Jellystone Park and love that they have dog parks for our pups. My only complaint is that there’s a dead bird hanging by fishing line from the Martin House. Otherwise, a great place to stay and the staff at the desk were super friendly!Rooms: 5/5
Let’s start with the 2 stars. 1 for the cleanliness of the property. 1 for the quiet during the day. Cons are that this is a family oriented campground. But kids under 12 cannot leave their campsite without an adult over 18. So my 12 year old son, 8 year old daughter and 6 year old daughter could not use any of the amenities without my husband or I fenced in jump pad, fenced in playground, fenced in basketball court—none of it. If they tried to a staff member would walk them back to the campsite. One of the staff members told me it’s a liability issue since the property is close to a busy road and isn’t fully fenced and processed to give me a lecture on parenting. Then she handed me the attached letter which says nothing about liability but more about poor behavior of others. That’s not my problem. My biggest issue with this is that this was not brought to my attention prior to booking or arriving. The terms and conditions I signed made no mention of it, nor did the gentleman who checked us in. It was after we had unhitched and unpacked that we were told. Otherwise we would have left. Anyone who camps frequently is used to children playing around the campground. That’s part of camping! She also told me that there are several other jellystones with this same policy. Other annoyances/cons include planes taking off directly over the campground frequently during the night, loud traffic noise and police cars driving around the campground in the morning didn’t feel safe. There were ZERO activities for campers. The pool wasn’t heated so despite it being 80 degrees outside we couldn’t use it because it was ice cold. Don’t stay here.
Awesome vacation! Rented 2 cabins for 3 nights and it was great! Very quiet even with a full park. Cabins were clean and stayed cool. Kids all had a blast. Loved it being dog friendly. Cell service and wifi in the cabins were not the greatest but expected. Our cabins were in the back of the park. Comfort station was clean everytime I was in there, 11 people means you need more than 2 bathrooms lol. Staff was friendly and helpful. Even with us arriving about an hour early they were understanding since we drove from Indiana. It felt very safe, friendly, and family oriented. I actually appreciated the restriction on kids not being able to freely walk around if under 12. Meant children were with adults and not doing crazy things. The only downside was the tent site was very close to one of our cabins and felt like there should have been a bit more space.
I work for Nooga Transport LLC. I delivered one of our repeat customers here today. Amazing park, staff was super help for. And the neighbors around the site I went to were super helpful. After getting camper leveled and set up, I noticed the power wasn’t working the park maintenance jumped on it immediately and install new breaker and power started working. Thanks so much for the help. Nooga Transport LLC
Wow, what a great place overall. Well groomed, clean, and definitely maintained by people who care. I highly recommend this to anyone camping. The RV spots are big and easy pull thru. Professional staff! We will definitely be returning.Hotel highlightsKid-friendly
We stayed here while in town to see Graceland. We have a 35-foot 5th wheel and had no problems getting set up in our campsite. We had a pleasant stay.Service: 5/5
