About my paintings design
Hello Friends!
Yulia Klimashevska Art project is dedicated to my paintings. In one of my previous lives I was known in the Russian web as Kolibri68. I was born in Russia, near lake Baikal. I graduated from a University with a major in Journalism. For twenty years I worked in Russian newspapers, magazines, and radio as a journalist and chief editor. After moving to NYC I have worked as a receptionist, reporter, copywriter, home health aid, dietitian assistant in a hospital, and also studied for social work at the University of Albany, NY. When I paint I see the world around me being made of magical yet natural phenomena. Characters and objects in my paintings rest in what is. In spite of that viewers can see images reflecting their own perception. I am inspired by my friends, Buddhism, cubists, impressionists, surrealism, abstract art, jazz, interior design, my husband, love.
Besides viewing my paintings you can also order variety sizes of prints on canvas or archival quality paper which will last a good hundred years before it starts losing color. I will be happy to help with framing options.
