Past & Present features a unique variety of gently used men's, women's, and children's clothing, accessories, shoes and gift items. Proceeds from YWCA Past & Present support the operations of the YWCA Alicia McCormick Homes.
Basement Sales are held the first Friday and Saturday of each month and offer shoppers a chance to find unique treasures at incredible bargain prices. Clothing from the store is provided to YWCA program participants free of charge as needed, and job training opportunities are available. Donations of clothing and other items are always appreciated, and volunteer opportunities are available.
Proceeds from YWCA Past & Present support the operations of the YWCA Alicia McCormick Homes. The YWCA Alicia McCormick Homes are ten transitional housing apartments for battered and homeless women and children who are moving toward completely independent lives. This innovative support program offers up to 18 months of housing to residents who contribute one-third of their income to help offset costs and also to encourage financial responsibility. It is the Kanawha Valley’s first transitional housing program for women and their children.
