I call Dr. Zaki the Miracle Doctor. For years, I suffered from severe arthritis, spinal pain and bulging disk back pain. I visited so many Pain Dr in Chicago and South and North side and in the South and North Suburbs in Illinois and received absolutely no results. From day 1 of seeing Dr. Zaki, his plan is working. I will be pain free for months until my next procedure. He is definitely a very nice, caring doctor who wants you to be pain free. I love his staff as well. Huff Young
Best Pain Dr ever. He work extremely hard to make you pain free. Excellent bed side manners. And very nice staff. I forgot. I was so focused on my lower back pain. I also received two shoulders plasma injections and now all the pain is gone. I had surgery which only helped 50 percent. The plasma helped me to be able to raise my shoulders again and do other things. I was so focused on my lower back. He healed my shoulder pain and movements.
Had pain so intense but no other doctors tried to figure out the issue. Dr. Anwar spent the time to know me as a patient and figure out a solution. Thank you Doc!
Dr. Anwar has helped me get from barely walking to regaining my confidence. A surgeon misdirected a surgical procedure leaving me in constant pain and Dr. Anwar was the solution. Unfortunately he changed the anesthesia I needed for the procedure and I was no longer able to get them done needle phobia. I hated having to find a new doctor. Dr. and staff are the best around. Listen to him. He's a smart man and compassionate.
As my back tries to disintegrate, Dr. Anwar has been willing to try different options so that we can put off intrusive surgery as long as possible. Been going for three years now, and so far, we are winning the war on my worst pain. Having a chronic pain changes a person's life, and he's helping me keep my life as normal as possible.
When I first met Dr. Anwar I had been on 12 meds and still in a lot of pain. Dr. Anwar has done some amazing work with PRP on me and he's always keeping my pain history in mind. God bless Dr. Anwar and his staff for always keeping the patient first!
Dr. AnWar has provided me the best care in finding the root cause of my medical condition, along with trying to get the best treatment possible at this time. He has not disappointed me yet! We still have a long way to go, but I'm hopeful that we can get to a better pain free life. I sincerely think he has the knowledge & experience that will have nothing but positive results. I'm very thankful & would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a pain specialist. No need to look any further, this is your guy!
Very impressed by Dr. Anwar and his staff! Very grateful to the people in scheduling for getting me in for an appointment fairly quickly after my previous doctor's office closed. The receptionist and nurses were very personable and professional. The office is a very clean, modern layout, with top of the line check-in, treatment option displays, and plenty of comfortable seating. Dr. Anwar, himself, is a very well dressed, handsome man who treats you like a person, not just a patient. He spent a lot of time with me asking questions, taking very detailed notes, and helping describe exactly WHY my condition causes the pain it does. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Ankylosing Spondylitis and Marfan Syndrome - which, in my experience, many doctors are not - which was very refreshing. We discussed several treatment options and charted a plan to explore them carefully to avoid upsetting an already difficult situation. I genuinely feel he and his staff truly care about the patient's well-being and go above and beyond to assure they help to mitigate a patient's suffering in a reasonable and responsible way.
He has been working with my lower back pain and nerve issues with my feet for over a year now. I have daily pain but he has helped me to keep under control, I have been dealing with this pain for several years and this is the best I have felt in a long time. I credit this to Dr Anwar’s drive to help get to bottom of what is causing my pain. We are still working on the issue but I have all the confidence he will get me to the end result of allowing me to live as pain free as I am able to. The staff is always very helpful, and they are just a great group of talent and I recommend them to anyone who lives with pain on a daily basis. Thanks to Dr. Anwar and his staff.
Dr. Zaki Anwar is the most condescending person I have ever met. I have been going to him for several years now and today he accused me of forcing his new nurse to write a prescription for more pain pills than what I usually get. I tried to tell him that the last month the script was written for a certain amount and he did not believe me. He refused to pull the copy of last months script so that I could show him what was ordered. At that time he told me he was not going to remain my pain doctor. I went to my pharmacy when I got out of his office and was able to secure a copy of last months prescription. I went back to his office gave it to his secretary to prove that he and his office people were the ones responsible, not me. Very poor people skills!
