We purchased jewelry here on two days last month. My wife traded in a previously purchased diamond ring from five years ago. They were very attentive and helpful. It is a least the 3rd Zales we have purchased from over the years and they consistently deliver on their services and value.
very nice jewelry... but the employee was extremely rude and didn't give us a chance to explain what we were looking for. She showed us 2 necklaces and when she showed us the 2nd one I said it was nice but a little too fancy that's all I said not mean or mad. She shut the case and said ok have a nice day and walked away. I was like I guess we are done.
Their lab is HORRIBLE!!! My wedding band and engagement ring had to be returned 5 times!!! 2x because the sizing was wrong 1x because the sizing wasn't even done and then when it came back the prongs were too far extended which was cutting the side of my pinky finger!! VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL PROCESSES!!! Save your money don't buy the extended warranty plan and if you need repairs got to Munchel's Fine Jewelry!!!!!!
After viewing the ratings on here I was a bit skeptical about going to this place. But to my surprise all of the staff that I encountered was very friendly, very helpful and understanding due to the fact that this would of been my first ring purchase ever, specially for something that was so expensive. I had a great experience here. Only thing I seen that could of went differently was when an employee was being friendly and talking to my fiancé and I, the associate that I was working with kind of shooed her away rudely and I didn’t like that because she wasn’t bothering us at all and was making the experience even more enjoyable. But overall great service, beautiful rings and very satisfied :

I walked in with the intent to price out wedding bands. I left with one of the employees insulting my ring and kind of upset. She pointed out how much the "gold" exterior would fade over time: making sure I knew that my ring was fake. She then brought me over to a glass case and tried to push for me to purchase a three 3 set ring just to make a sale. She showed me all kinds of rings and did not bother to try and match the one I have. I am absolutely disgusted by this. I know my ring isn't glamourous and that it is not real gold, but it's the meaning behind the ring. Not how flashy or real it is. I won't be shopping her and I will make a point to tell all my friends about this and recommend somewhere else.
this is a company to trust even with the most difficult jewelry requests. Their jewelry is great quality reasonal prices and the staff are super amazing well educated on what theyre doing. Basically this company treats your needs as if it was their very own. I JUST LOVE THEM
On 08/10/2020 I dropped my rings off at the north Lakeland store so they could send them off to resize them and re rhodium plate them. On 09/11/2020 I went back to the store to pick up my wedding band and engagement ring, but I was only given one back. I asked the associate where my other ring was and she acted like I never gave it to them. I explained I turned in both rings, they were a bridal set and they were turned in to be resized. Why would I only have one resized? I had the paperwork with me from when I turned it in. The associate kept saying I should have two tickets since it was two rings. I said well this is what they gave us and no one said I needed two tickets. After going around in circles with her and being treated like I was a thief, I finally told her to pull their surveillance video. The manager came over and said they did take it and took responsibility for it. She then proceeded to pull the picture of the rings up on their tablet from the day I turned it in. She said I only needed the one ticket since it was a set. She said she’d call whomever was resizing it and rerhodium playing it to see if they still have, but they’d take care of it. She wanted me to leave my engagement ring, but finally agreed to let me take it due to my hesitation since the band was missing. On 9/12/2020 they called my husband to let him know my wedding band was lost. No one knew where it was. Emily, the manager told my husband they sent a claim in to customer service and they’d be following up. Since then my husband has spoken and been overly nice with customer care. We have been patient, far more patient than any other person would be, but after today, my patience has worn thin. Yesterday, 09/28/2020 my husband spoke to customer care. They said they spoke direct to the district or regional manager and that they would have my replacement ring there today. I asked my husband if he was sure because it sounded so simple. He said customer care reassured him it would be there for me to pick up. Today, 09/29/2020 I went back up to zales where I was met by a different associate. She seemed mortified and kept apologizing for the lost band. She went and spoke to the manager whom was on a conference call. The sales associate came back and said that the manager had not heard anything from customer care and they did not have a replacement for me yet. She advised she’d have the manager call my husband once her meeting was over. The manager did call him a little bit later and told him she had the ring, but couldn’t give it to me because she hadn’t been told anything and there was a process. So long story short I’ve been back and forth to the store multiple times, which takes me a good 40-45 minutes to get there in traffic with my toddler, a newborn, and today in the rain. I still have NO ring. This isn’t a 10k ring. It’s a $499 wedding band. It’s not fancy, but it was mine, given to me by my husband the day we got married, and it was paid for. At no fault of my own, my original wedding band is gone. I was treated like a crook. We have been given the run around, literally. I’m still without a replacement, refund, or anything to show other than a .02 piece of paper showing I turned it in. I will eventually have to trek back up to the store with the kids once someone in the company finally figures out what they’re doing. Worst Jewerly store experience ive had in 30 years. Sells cheap quality and do not care if you have any issue. This store needs to be closed. Terrible and condescending customer service. Another Jeweler in the mall, fixed the problem and got the money I intended to spend at Zales. I will never spend a single dollar here again. If you are at the location when you see this, there are at least 4 better options very near you.
I'm beyond upset with the service I've received here. I took my wedding ring in to be resized. They sent it off and never called when it was ready. Several weeks went by so I called. It was ready so I took the 40 minute drive to pick it up. It was saudered crooked! They had to send it back to get fixed. Then today I went to pick it up again and they said I couldn't because the security gate was down. It's 6:41PM. The mall closes at 7PM. This was never communicated through their voicemail to be there early. The communication with this store is terrible. After I finally get my ring back, I'll definitely not recommend this Zales.
