Great experience and exploration of the beautiful parks. Recommend going on a week day vise a weekend due to traffic. Lots of incredible views and trails to walk. Make sure you wear good shoes, bring water, extra power for cell phone and don’t be in a rush.
My most favorite National Park hands down! Today I biked from Virgin UT to Zion NP and these were some of the best I’ve encountered. No middle fingers or honking… Now let’s talk about the park. The Zion valley is magnificent and Angels Landing is a must see for those that aren’t afraid of narrow ledges. Winding turns and massive mountains all over. There are trail options for beginners and more experienced hikers. I can just sit in one place by the river and get lost in the beauty all around. I rate this as my #1 NP in the US and I’ve been to Yosemite among several others. Take your family here or just friends or go solo. This park won’t disappoint. I go here every year.
Good bus system. Recommend parking early in the morning either at the visitors center or walking distance from entrance if possible. Can see the highlights in 2 days but there’s more to explore. Safer park as there are many visitors, but there are also many visitors to this park. If you only have time to visit one park in Utah/Nevada area, this one should be high on your list.
One of my favorite places. It truly is beautiful. Some trails are family friendly and some are more for the people trying to find an experience. I highly recommend the Narrows and Angel's Landing. Go early to beat the crowds.
A stunning national park. The scenery is breathtaking. You cannot drive into the park unless you are staying at the lodge. Their shuttle bus service is fantastic, running every couple of minutes. There is so much to do. Don't forget your permit for Angel's Landing. Restrooms: Restrooms at most of the shuttle stops. Also, restrooms near the start to Angel's Landing.
Beautiful park! The views on the drive through the park are magnificent and the tunnels were interesting. The park would really benefit from starting a timed entry program similar to Arches that only allows a certain number of people in the park at a time. The crowding issues are severe here and do take away from the actual experience compared to less busy parks. Overall, though, we enjoyed the beauty of the park and it was well worth a visit.
Truly a stunning and beautiful, awe inspiring park! Shuttle service was great - provided great access to folks that can't hike or walk too far. Can't wait to come back to explore more. Give yourself at least 4 days to see it all!
This place is very unique. Bring good shoes, walking sticks, jackets, water bottles, and a change of close. Be prepared to get wet. Some of the trails go in the water. One trail requires a permit. You have to fill it out at least a day before to do that trail. The park doesn't approve permits the same day. It will take a week to walk everything here. It is kid friendly. The stars are amazing at night when you are on the trails. A must-see place.
This is one of my favorite national parks I’ve been too. So much to do and see. The views are amazing and breathtaking. Every year we come back to Zion National Park we have another hike we do. Every year things change a little because of the run off. Rock formations are altered or moved. Everything is always changing here. Everyone things it’s always going to be super hot in the park. There is plenty of shade everywhere and the further you get into the canyon the cooler it gets. So it’s actually really enjoyable even on hot days and I’m from Alaska. My children always have a blast here. They love playing on the rocks and jumping around. The water hikes help keep them cool and going.
Visited August 2023 Zion is the most outstanding of all the national parks to me! There is just so much to see and it changes every hour, depending on the light so many layers of details. Great hiking options and so much nature to take in. Only thing I don’t like about it to go to the visitor centre was a challenge as all parking areas around were full. No cars allowed on the scenic drive The only way to travel along the scenic drive is by free shuttle bus unless you’re staying inside the park itself.
