It is way farther from Zion National park than was eluded; it is a long drive. They have only a few bathrooms that were often not available every time I walked up to use them, and they are not nice bathrooms compared to other resorts. Their pool and hot tub hours are terrible: No one wants a hot tub when it's 105 degrees, so you want it at night or early in the morning, but they don't open until 11:30am and close at 9;00pm. Upsetting when you want to use one of the few amenities they have and can't. I was told they don't want to open it up earlier because they don't want people hanging around too long before check out. If they opened the hot tub early, you could be in and out and still check out on time. People are on the road driving for hours every day and could use the hot tub to sooth achy muscles. I would say check out other places before booking here. There are others more convenient to Zion National Park . The camp spots are not bad, but I thought it was way too expensive for what you get. My suggestion to staff would be:: Have coffee ready early in the morning because people come here with plans. They didn't have it ready early enough for me . Open the spa up earlier, 8;00am, 9 at latest; and keep it open later; even until 10pm would help. I was disappointed for what I got for the price. BTW: The pool area was nice; just wish the hours were better.
Great staff, prices in the gift shop were cheaper than in town and their stuff was cute! Do be aware that the grassy area is for dogs to do their business on....not an area for you to lay down in or just enjoy the grass. ;- The sites by the creek but the sites by the road looked just as nice and had nice shading from their trees. Everything was clean and we just really enjoyed it. :- Ty
2 part review. This place is quiet at night. No one partying hard-core or even having late night camp fires and being rowdy. Good place for the family. VERY WELL maintained and grounds are cleaner than a KOA. Perfect location to stay for Zion. I really wish I could give 10 stars. Staff is very nice to deal with and very knowledgeable about what to do around the area.
We stayed here on a weeks-long road trip with our 3 little boys. We base our satisfaction on whether our kids are happy or not, and we have no complaints! The pool and hot tub were excellent, the creek provided lots of opportunities for tadpole fishing, the little playground was a cute gathering spot for all the kids, and there was even a game room with free coffee for adults. The staff were all so accommodating, and one staff person even replaced my son’s lollipop after he broke it before leaving the store. Would def recommend for families
A beautiful place and everything is very well maintained. We had 2 nights with our camper. But keep in mind the campground is very remote with no nearby shopping. You must be well prepared. Nice pool, but unfortunately there are not enough toilets for the size of the campground. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.
Many campgrounds use the word “resort” very casually. This place is what the standard she be to able to put resort into the title. It is awesome! Easy access to Zion. Great amenities. Awesome shade. Come here, you won’t regret it!
My family and I stayed there for Memorial Day 2023. We had never driven an RV or been to an RV campground so it was all new to us. The Zion River Resort makes the entire process super easy and each spot was setup with everything you need. The park was was well maintained, the staff were super helpful, and all of the amenities made it an amazing trip. We definitely plan on returning and making the resort a regular destination when we’re in he area. If you’re looking for a great RV spot in the Zion National Park or general area they’re a great option.
Very clean and well kept campground. Friendly staff, nice size lot, clean and convenient hook ups. Perfect spot in southern Zion to base out of. Picnic table and fire ring at every site. Didn’t visit the pool and hot tub area, but looked like a nice place for kids to enjoy the afternoon.Service: 5/5
My friend and I were camping on a tent the last week and we wouldn't recommend it to camp like that. The tents area is so close to the road and all day and at night is very noise by cars and also is so windy. The positive aspects are there is a shelter to cook and the restrooms/showers are very clean and spacious.Service: 3/5
Great location, but little tight for larger rigs in some turns. It is a clean and well kept up RV resort with great views. The staff was very friendly but not as knowledgeable of the area as I would have hoped for. The reason for the 4 stars is the hot tub was down for 3 days while we there and the pool was closed for one of the days. The office staff kept telling us each day the hot tub should be fixed, but it was cold. The day the pool was closed they came out and said it should be open in an hour and it never opened.
