The Zoom Room® offers positive dog training in group or private classes, including agility, puppy training, obedience, therapy dog training, dog tricks, scent class, Pup-lates® and more. We love the Zoom Room! As first time dog parents we had a lot to learn with obedience. We started with obedience 1, and after 5 classes our pup Penny graduated. The skills taught in class were great. They are extremely useful, easy to use and we use them everyday with our dog now. We will definitely be enrolling in obedience 2. It’s a great and affordable place to start for new dog parents.
My dog and I have had an awesome experience at the Torrance Zoom Room! The instructors are patient and give excellent cues and prompts for the dogs and their handlers. They are engaged and are very in-tune to the dog's body language, and help adjust as necessary. There are so many class times with lots of options for weekends, weekdays, day time and night time. Scheduling classes is super easy online, and email reminders are sent for classes you've signed up for, which is very helpful for forgetful folks like me. The facility is clean, very pup-and-people-friendly, there's plenty of parking, and the lot is well-lit at night. Zoom Room uses only positive reinforcement, which is so important to me since my little mutt came from the shelter: I don't know her background, and wanted to socialize and train her in a safe group environment. Zoom Room has been perfect for her. We have taken Obedience and Agility classes, and are stoked to have found such a great place!
Our puppy Ellie started puppy training+ classes for age 4-8 months when she was 4 months old. It's amazing how much she has already learned in the past 1.5 months! I really appreciate that my husband and I are being guided and trained on how to work with her. She is very timid of trying anything new. We have received incredible guidance regarding how to work specifically with her and how to best build up her confidence but I had to seek out guidance from the instructors before class began. We hope that Zoom Room reinstates teaching puppy training + for shy/timid puppies and shy dog playgroups. We would most definitely attend! Training a shy/timid puppy is definitely not the same as training a confident one and a specific class addressing our needs would be extremely helpful. We would sign up in a heartbeat! My husband and I highly recommend Zoom Room in Torrance for puppy training!
Zoom Room Torrance is great. It's brand new, very clean, has affordable treats, accesories, and toys. The cost of lessons is fair as you get access to modern agility equipment with lessons that achieve results. My only suggestion would be if the trainers can offer some diy lessons between classes to better prepare for the next class. Of course, you can just work on what you learned in class but other trainers provide additional exercises that can be done at home for improved results. The obedience classes provided a good basis for moving onto agility. Studies show the type of training they teach here works better in the long term. Overall, five star facility with a wide range of classes and great staff. You'll feel very welcome here right away. I'd like to thank all the staff we met and helped us further Meli's training: Sarah, Maz, Adriana, Rockosp?, and Jolie! Check this place out!
We’ve had such a great experience at Zoom Room Torrance! Both our dogs are in classes here, and the trainers really get to know you and your pet. They know both of ours by name, know what we’re working on in each of our classes, and give us lots of opportunities to ask questions. Very patient, very helpful, and always looking out for the best interest of us and our dogs.
Puppy preschool has been great to get my puppy Pixel socialized and learn basic obedience commands early on. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the class packs are reasonably priced. Definitely recommend for new puppy owners.
Been going for about 6 months, and absolutely love it. Work Katie makes the classes a ton of fun, and my dog is obsessed w Maz! Maz is a great instructor, and creates an environment that is both fun and informative. Really a great way to strengthen the bond with your dog!
Since joining Zoom room I have had nothing but a positive experience. I have felt very informed and that I am speaking to well trained individuals and making sure that my puppy is successful in her training. Cal is my puppy's trainer and he is so patient and kind to the puppies & owners. Cal is always willing to share tips and any helpful tricks.
Our Goldendoodle, Ben, has loved going to Zoom Room. The puppy preschool was a great way to start socializing him and giving him some basic training. The puppy training and puppy playgroup has really helped Ben start to become a well behaved puppy. We really appreciate that everything is based on positive reinforcement.
Sara and her team of trainers at Zoom Room are awesome! They are accommodating , professional and enthusiastic! My dogs have enjoyed taking pics with Santa as well as agility classes.
