We went to the Behind the Screams tour and the staff treated us so nicely! They took us around the whole haunt with the lights on and allowed us to look at everything and ask as many questions as we’d like. This team does such a wonderful job at designing and keeping the rooms in tact for your experience. They are big on safety and cleanliness and behind the scenes really proved this. I would highly recommend this experience if you’re interested in the theming, design and construction behind haunted houses.
Long wait lol. Even the fast pass had a line. We bought gen adm and our time was at 8 pm. 2 hours later at 10 and we are inside finally but still waiting in line to see anything scary lol. Moving walls, floors, cool props, creative themes and costumes. Wasn't scary if I'm being honest tho. But then again it takes a lot to scare me. Scare level maybe a 3 out of 10 lol. Ax throwing and mini escape room at the end.
Absolutely AMAZING!!! This is a great experience you should definitely add to your Halloween haunts. The sets, actors and jump scares are fantastic!!! Do not miss this epic haunt, it’s scary good fun for the whole family!!!
An outstanding “local” haunted house. The effort put into it rivals any haunted house design created by the big parks. The actors are great while still being personable. One of the best things about the attraction is that it’s located 30 minutes away making it super convenient to visit. It’s Some may complain about the price but when it comes to haunted attractions you truly get what you pay for. My wife and I went on a lark last year and have since made it part of our personal Halloween tour, ranking right beside “hallow scream” at Busch Gardens and “Halloween Horror Nights “ at universal.
I have gone to a lot of haunted houses and some of them you get surprised and some of them you are like “did I just waste my money?”. This one was on the border. The reason why is because of the prices of the tickets. They give you three options on their website and the more you pay the fast you get into the haunted house. You have the standard, fast pass and skip the line. I purchased the fast pass and by the way it’s gets expensive with the 2 fees that get tacked onto the price of the ticket. When I walked into the parking lot it was empty. Oh did I mention that the haunted house is built into a department store? Yeah that was what caught me off guard. Anyways, I got there the only line that had anyone in it was the standard link which by the way only had 20 people in it. So I paid way too much money for my fast pass ticket when there was no wait in any of the lines. So let’s talk about the scare factor. If I were to rate it out of 1-10 I was say that it was a solid 5. The experience felt like it could have been better if they had more employees working the haunted house. I know they might be short staffed but the price of the tickets should reflect that. Just saying. I remember growing up when I went to a haunted house we were not pushed through. Being pushed through and catching up to the group in front of us kind of spoils the whole experience. I could see the scares up ahead and when it finally got to us the timing was off and we wouldn’t get the same scare that the group up ahead was experiencing. I would highly recommend slowing down the crowd pushing especially if it’s not busy and there is no need to do it. The costumes were good and the rooms were highly detailed and in fact it was probably more detailed compared to universal studios. I think the prices of the tickets are too high. I believe the price of the tickets should be around the $20-$25 mark and that would be for a fast price. At the end of the day if your trying to hit every haunted house as a bucket list I would say do it but keep in mind that this won’t be the scariest but it will be the most detailed. Just so you know there are not multiple haunted houses but one big one and there are different environments that you transition through.
Wow!!!! I’ve been coming here for 5+ years. We went on a Friday night, pretty early in the month of October. One of the last time slots to go in. Not sure if all those things contributed to the experience. But WOW!!!! What a beautiful haunt with greatly detailed corners and turns. I wish there could have a collective tip jar for the actors , because, man they deserve it! Will definitely be back next month for their special haunt! Love you guys!!!
This place is really sick, the inside did exceed my expectations. The actors are really nice and scary, totally worth the money if you actually like scary places and can finish the house. The one thing that did surprise me was that it is CONSTANT scaring. There are no breaks while walking through the place to add the suspense effect, which did come to a surprise to me. I believe you are also meant to go through the area quite quickly, as the actors will start chasing you if you go too slow which didn't help me in the slightest. All-in-all, cool place, nice people. They have paramedics there if you need them. I would definitely not recommend if you're easily scared, as you will suffer the same fate as me I almost passed out twice and I'm sorry for the actors scaring me. Regardless, my party had fun.
I was super impressed with this place! All of the staff were amazing, the themes of the houses were really cool, and it was just top notch sets, props and actors. It was the best that our group went with just us, instead of being herded through like cattle and not getting scared because you see everything happen up ahead of you. This says a lot because nothing is ever scary enough, but this was a thrill the entire time! This was my first year going but I will definitely be making a tradition of this!
Amazing haunt!!!! The staff were so amazing and professional, the actors were phenomenal, and scares around every corner. My favorite part was the boat and the singing siren. Shawna in retail killed it! I bought SO much merch, because of her! Recommend all day everyday! If you love haunts, this is the place to come!
WOW. As someone who’s been going to local haunts her whole life and Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts for several years, I can confidently say that this is a top notch haunt experience. My jaw dropped so many times, and they got me so good with several of the scares. This is a really special haunt, and everyone who works here/works on the haunt should be so proud. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there are so many interesting features and experiences… this is not your typical haunted house. Truly mindblown.
